I think the new prosecutor will be Franziska's older sister. Her name will be Alessa von Karma, and she will be thirty-one years old. She will have shoulder length, blonde hair that is always tied up in a messy bun, and hazel eyes. I'm not sure what she'll wear yet, though. I just know it won't be anything similar to what Franziska wears.

Alessa will be very intelligent, and value the truth over a guilty verdict. Because of this, Franziska, who is still obsessed with perfection after eight years, loathes her with a burning passion. Franziska and Alessa are very different because their parents split up when Alessa was eight, and Franziska was three. Alessa went to live with her mother, while Franziska stayed with her ~~batshit crazy~~ father, Manfred. They barely ever spoke to each other after that. However, Alessa is still stubborn and mean, like her sister.

Alessa has a daughter, whose name is Leyna. Leyna's father was murdered, and the suspect was proven not guilty, even though it was obvious the suspect was the only one who could have done it. Because of this, Alessa decided to become a prosecutor, to make sure that the truth is uncovered for every case.

Some other things:
- At some point in the game, Alessa will say to Franziska that it's "sad how dependant you are on victory." Franziska will not be amused.
- Alessa will mock Apollo a lot in court, but is a bit friendlier in the investigation parts of the game. Note I say "a bit".
- She never loses her cool, no matter how badly she's being beaten.

And that's all I have for now. I doubt it's going to be very accurate, but this is still fun. :yogi:

I think the prosecutor will be female. She will have some connection to a gang or the mafia. I imagine this connection to be familial; she will have renounced her old gang influences to become a prosecutor. One of the cases will have personal meaning to her. She will have hair that is a dark shade. Her eyes will be a very pale colour, surrounded by dark eyelashes. Out of court her conversations with Apollo and co. will be very monosyllabic but she will often reveal things of a personal nature. She will be presented as a love interest for Apollo; meaning she will make him flustered in and out of court. She will be a victim of some sort sometime in the game.

In court, she will have a gimmick and a catch phrase. Her catch phrase will be accompanied by some movement of her hand. Her hair will be curly and styled in an up-do. She will be older than Apollo. She is rather self-involved but something in the game makes her think about someone else for a change. She loves intellectual debate and will happily pursue an unrelated lead even if it isn't immeadiately relevant to the trial. She will also wear a hat or a brooch. Her outfit will mainly be light pink and purple with a darker colour to tie in with her hair. She will wear rather masculine clothes with a few feminine accessories. She knows a lot about other characters, and teaches Apollo a lot. She is from the UK. Her objection will be calmly said, almost as if bored. She will drum her fingers on the desk or against her arm in one of her animation sprites.

The next prosecutor could be Edgeworth's (or maybe Franziska's) disciple. Come to think of it, GS4 was all about "The new generation begins!" thing, so, we have Apollo as Phoenix's follower, and it's rather possible that one of his rival's disciple would appear.

Baw, I hate making unfounded acusations, but that's the point of this topic, no? Here goes.

Everyone's talkin' about Apollo's dad. Now that seems likely, but whatever happened to Phoenix's parents? Why are they never mentioned? How about someone with a wrestling motif? That hasn't been in a Saiban game before. Maybe someone who is extremely rich and sheltered; with a cape. Who knows.

I'm thinking that after we've only had two female lawyers in the whole series, the prosecutor would be female. If she was, she could be an object of Apollo's affections (if subtly to keep fanbases running as well as creating a new one). I think he or she'd be harsh, but not to the point of Franziska - just enough to pursue their prosecution. I don't think they'd like to be wrong, so they'd keep fighting until near the very end where Apollo's in his stride and there are hardly any more points for them to make to counter his arguments.

The new prosecutor will be some army drill sergeant. His name is Allen Yesir, and he would be modeled after this:

He became a prosecutor after being forced to leave the army three years before GS5, and all of the mystery surrounding him would be cleared up in the very last case.

His battle tactics would be a bit like :franny:

's, but even more ruthless. He does not whip or drink coffee, he shouts. HE SHOUTS REALLY VERY HARD SOLDIER! He often uses military lingo and metaphors in court.

The next prosecutor is definitely, definitely gonna be a woman. She will probably have hair in a very odd colour (i.e. blue, green, etc.) tied up in a ponytail, as well as light coloured eyes. She will be around Apollo's height (not adding in the value of his antennas) and age. She will wear a business suit to trials. She'll be from England, and will constantly emphasize her words with hand movements. She will be very haughty around Apollo, thinking of him as a very stupid person, which makes Apollo very, very uncomfortable. In court her quirk will be that she quotes Sun Tzu and Machiavelli ALL. THE. TIME!!! And when she gets pissed or nervous she'll sweat like crazy and throw her glasses at Apollo, only to mysteriously gain a brand new pair in seconds.

She will be a suspect or witness during one of the cases. Later on it will be discovered that she was Apollo's childhood friend, but was forced to move away after she was orphaned in a car crash that killed her parents. She was bullied at the orphanage, and vowed to stop criminals from being able to get away with their criminal behaviour. Apollo doesn't remember her because she was very young when she left, but during the final case he will remember her. In the end, she will assist Apollo in solving some case that involves Phoenix, and they will become friends again.

, but not by blood. This will end up being used as a plot device to connect other characters from Rise from the Ashes to the story. She will sport wild west cliches and wear a cowboy hat. She gets a lasso instead of a whip to avoid being a :franny:

There will be lots of southern slang involved and she will be friends with Lotta Hart, if Lotta comes back into the series. Lana Skye would be an interesting idea, but I can't help but think she might not even be able to be involved with law at all after what she did in the SL-9 incident and the following two years. Yes she was being controlled by Gant, but they might not excuse that. Might just be me thinking about it too much though, so don't quote me on it. :X

Frankly I'd rather Apollo go up against a fierce competitive prosecutor who wants to take down criminals at all costs, not a perfectionist or anything, just someone who despises criminals and wants as many as he can put away. I think it'd be interesting to see how Apollo would fare against a ruthless prosecutor, as opposed to a laid-back truth seeker like Klavier.

Let's see. I believe it will be a female prosecutor the same age of Apollo who most likely graduated not in America/Japan. She will have a grudge against Apollo for some reason and be very cold in court but friendly to Trucy and everyone else.

Lets see...she'll have dirty blonde or mousy brown hair cut short and have skin tone similar to those from Seihou and Borgonia. I think she will also have grey eyes. She's well endowed and dresses in an outfit similar to Mia Fey.

is going to return for at least ONE case, but I'm assuming the new prosecutor is going to be a girl. What will make her difference is her silence. She'll never smile. Never joke around. Probably won't even make fun of Mr. Wright/Mr. Justice. She'll take everything with the utmost seriousness, like a regular lawyer. She'll have some sort of back story with Apollo Justice, probably something to do with his heritage, and will, on that note, probably be a relative. As always, she'll be pretty, proabably have brown hair, combed back. Maybe she'd look a bit like :lana:

My prosecutor would be a girl. She's serious, yet dark and mysterious. There might be some sort of hidden secret behind her, and she teases Apollo a lot or maybe Phoenix. Also, Apollo would be baffled by her superior logic and will come close to losing his case. She would have jet-black hair, wears goggles, and has a somewhat miffed expression whenever you meet her.

The prosecutor will be a female, and Payne's daughter.
Tired that her father is making himself ridiculous and constantly losing against newbies, she has taken up law to become a great prosecutor and avenge her father, defeating any lawyer who won against him, which keeps her very busy.
As a result, she's a very nervous girl, as she's under all that responsibility. Inside, she's a nice girl who just wishes people who stop making fun of her dad, but all the pressure got to her and she seems a bit crazy, in a scary way.
She has a very unusual hair colour or hairstyle. It's probably died.
She might end up having a soft spot for Apollo and as a result soften and allow him to defeat her.

Hmmm... This is tough... I want it to be a girl, but...

I predict the next prosecutor to be a dude, around the same age as Apollo, in his mid twenties. He's absolutely ruthless, similar to ol' Manfred, and is possibly willing to use underhanded tactics to achieve his goals, which will be centered around manipulating the new jurist system. He will be in complete contrast to Klavier; "truth" will not matter to him, and he will find enjoyment in putting Apollo in extremely difficult situations. In short, he will force Apollo to man up and become his own defense attorney, sort of like what Godot did to Phoenix.

All right, I'll take a stab at this.

My guess is they'll be a "model type", as in they give off a fashion model vibe as soon as you see them (i.e. Klavier, Shih-na) -- young (early to mid 20's), slim, stylish. Very confident...but not flirtatious. Clothing will be a cool colour (in contrast to Apollo's red) and unlike Klavier, their neck and collarbone will be covered. Taller than Apollo. Their hair will be swept forwards, whether it be large bangs or pieces covering their cheeks/shoulders, since Apollo's is pulled back so much.

No matter how they appear, they'll be the "no-nonsense" type. Advertised as being MYSTERIOUS. I don't think they'll have any connection to characters from GS1-3...if anything, they'll be connected to Klavier (so that Klavier will be able to provide Apollo with info or some warning).

Also I'm gonna guess male.

I bet that Larry Butz will be the prosecutor in the training case. He will have found his inspiration as attorney and stole Payne's badge. Noone will notice that until the case is over anyway (Fake defense attorneys anyone?)... Apollo doesn't know him and daddy Phoenix would just look at the incompetent attorney with amusement.

I know it's been mentioned before, but I'm kind of hoping it's Lana. We never really do get to see her in the courtroom and I think that'd be kind of awesome. Plus, Capcom seems to like bringing back old characters (as evidenced by Ema and Meekins popping up in AJ and Investigations) so it's not too far fetched. Probably not going to happen, but hey, it sounds awesome.

I would like the next prosecutor to be Apollo's estranged step-sister (assuming Apollo has adoptive parents he spent most of his life with) who is convinced that her adoptive brother is slipping into criminality... considering that Apollo's clients so far have been a disbarred lawyer, the son of a mafia boss, a cocoon-smuggler, and an evidence-forger; not to mention being the apprentice of a murderer. In a way, it would be like a reverse of the Phoenix/Edgeworth dynamic from GS1, which would allow her to be less gimmicky than the rest of Edgeworth's successors yet remain compelling.

I'd love to see Phoenix get a job at the prosecutor's office just to see Apollo vs. Phoenix.

I predict the new prosecutor to be a friend of Kristoph's, one of the members of the Board of Inquiry committy that took away Wright's badge. Above all else, he believes the law is absolute. He will have it in for Phoenix and Apollo, and will use all the power he has to defeat Justice in court, as well as discredit the Jurist System. He will be ruthless with Justice, demanding every single statement that Apollo brings up be supported by the evedence. He would even try to discredit the Jurists themselves at one point (possibly bribing or coercing one of them.) No gimmick, no quirky saying. He's straight to the point and intimidating like Von Karma.

I think we've had a few too many courtroom tyrants - if the GS5 prosecutor ends up being a change of pace, here's what I imagine will be the case...

Will be female, possibly mid-to-late twenties, early thirties.
Has a moderate-length ponytail, typically over her left shoulder.
Color scheme is primarily green and white.
Personality will be calm, collected, extraordinarily witty.
Her wit is primarily used in response to whoever decides to contest her (typically the player, or detective).
Her banter is often strikingly similar to famed fictional detective, Philip Marlowe. Her speech mannerisms are decidedly 1940's-styled, tending to use bizarre euphemisms and analogies that sound very outdated.
Will, on one or two rare occasions, physically attack a person that is giving her trouble.
In stark contrast to the past several prosecuting attorneys, she cares not for protocol, the chain of command, or on at least one occasion, evidence and investigation procedures. Will do whatever it takes to expose the truth - though her truths are often misguided due to unfortunate misreading of the crime scene.
