In light of the apparent truth behind the Repliforce Incident, the Maverick Hunters draft the new Justice For All Protocol.

"Any Reploid suspected of Maverick activity, if not positivly indentified as a Maverick, is entitled to a fair trial."

This is where Counter comes in. A Reploid designed and built in Skye Labs, Counter is the first Reploid built specifically for investigating the truth behind reported Maverick incidents. Armed with the revolutionary Argus System, Counter will seek out the truth and prove his client's innocence.

*Khamile*

Counter's assistant. Khamile is New Generation Reploid installed with a Copy Chip. By scanning individuals roughly the same size as herself, Khamile can copy their appearance and help Counter gain access to areas crucial to his investigations.

She's currently saving up to upgrade her frame so she can become a professional Reploid fighter.

*Zilas*

A human prosecutor who was gravely wounded in the Sky Lagoon Incident. He's now forced to wear a breathing/voice simulator device that covers the lower half of his face. Zilas has vowed no Maverick would ever his grasp since returning to work.

*The Judge*

An A.I. hologram based off a highly respected Judge from the 21st century.

Commander of the 17th Unit of the Maverick Hunters, X is always to help Counter whenever possible.

A rather wolf-like human detective keeps getting himself involved in Counter's cases, even though he claims Maverick incidents are outside his jurisdiction.

Case 01 - Turnabout Parry

In his first case ever, Counter must prove Eclair, a Reploid working at a fencing school, did not kill her rather lecherous human employer during a demonstration.

Case 02 - Turnabout Grappling

"Metal Melee" is a populat TV show where Reploids fight each other in front of an audience. But when popular newcomer Muscle Minotaur apparently causes the death of the occupants of a private box during a match, he immediately surrenders himself as a potential Maverick. With the self-imposed help of Mintotaur's #1 Fan, Counter seeks out the truth.

Case 03 - Turnabout Warzone

Lieutenant, one of the few surviving members of RepliForce, is accused of murdering the human investigator who implicated RepliForce in the Sky Lagoon Incident. To clear his client, Counter must not only determine what really happened at the crime scene, but also uncover the full truth behind Sky Lagoon.

Case 04 - Turnabout Virus

Counter's inventor is murdered and her young assistant is the prime suspect. With help from the detective, Counter obtains special permission to defend his first human client. Counter is going to need all help he can get for this. For to save the young Dr. Ciel, Counter must outwit the sinister Prosecutor Migas...

Reploid? Maverick Hunters? Repliforce Incident?

It sounds fun though. :)

Those are all references to the Mega Man X series of video games. It would take much too long to explain.

Edit: Also, if they had a Reploid Justice System that wasn't the Maverick Hunters, wouldn't that render the entire series null?

Maverick = Reploids who have become homocidial maniacs.

Maverick Hunters = Reploids who destroy Mavericks.

RepliForce = An indendent Reploid army that was framed for the Sky Lagoon Incident and wrongfully classified as Mavericks. (Play Mega Man X4)

No. The Justice For All Protocol applies to Reploids who are only SUSPECTED of being Maverick. Confirmed Mavericks are still handled by the Maverick Hunters.

I never thought there was really a grey area. But, I guess if you gave Reploids the same rights as humans, then a justice system would be feasible.
