He's such an evil bastard and I love him for it.

I liked this character, others may hate him because he turned out to be some narcisstic(sp?) ass, but he was an interesting character to me.

The way she just lost it over Celeste just broke my heart. I can symphatize(sp?) with her, because she lost someone really close to her. Plus, I love how clumsy she was in TaT XD

I hated the way she seemed to care more about the money than Ron at the end of the case.

She's just too damn innocent. Boring as a character, for the most part. And being the PxE fangirl I am, that one simple "Feenie" made me want to scream.

If he was really sorry he killed the Ringmaster, he would have confessed. He was only sorry he got caught.

I never thought Godot was sexist. The "kitten" thing seemed more flirty than anything else, and what he said to Franziska he probably would have also said to Edgeworth or Payne were they in that position.

Also, why didn't you add that he blamed Phoenix for Mia's death (because he didn't want to blame himself) instead of the person that actually killed her?

I'm pretty sure Godot knew about Redd White. My point was that he's telling Phoenix that it was his responsibility to protect Mia, when he could've prevented his poisoning by being less careless, so he was just as at fault as Phoenix. And I know he admitted this in the end, but it still really bothered me.

This one of the few criminals I'm fond of. He's really sorry for what he did, and his motive, although harsh, was because of his poor brother. A very deep character.

She killed Valerie and Doug, made Terry commit suicide, poisoned poor Diego, and almost killed Feenie!

He shot him accidentally in his shoulder.
He killed Gregory just because he dealt a penalty to him... He should be grateful he wasn't put in jail!

He killed two people, tried to kill another one, and made Phoenix lose his badge for stupid reasons like pride. Just hate him

Reminds me so much of myself it's almost scary. Confident one minute, neurotic the next. A character with a tragic past that she uses to shape her future - even though the need to cling to something/someone never truly leaves her.

Best-developed villain in the series. There's no way that T&T would have been as good as it was without her. I loved the ending, I actually jumped a little when her spirit screamed. So evil...so good.

Absolute and total love. One of the deepest characters out there. 1-4 absolutely blew me away. What's not to love?! He's hot, he's smart, and he has impeccable fashion sense. I'd love to just kick back at the High Prosecutor's Office and discuss the state of the world over a cup of tea. The conflict between him and Manfred in court was just...wow. His story just broke my heart. Edgeworth is proof that video game characters are capable of having breathtaking, realistic stories while still lending to the player's amusement.

The point of a love triangle, the mother of the game's protagonists, a beautiful magician, and a talented singer. All wrapped up into one complicated and gorgeous character. I don't understand the mainly harsh disposition towards her. She's the most underappreciated character in the series, hands-down. Her decisions early on were foolish, but she was very young (born in 1986 and had Apollo at 18, Trucy at 22). Thankfully, she matured, and returns at the end of the game seeming like a wiser and more motherly person. (I hope I will look that good at forty years old and after I've had two kids...)

As Lamiroir, she is very polite, easy to cross-examine, and well-dressed. Someone said earlier how Machi was not in the credits, but Lamiroir was. Machi is a side character, and a very good one - but if it weren't for Lamiroir/Thalassa, Apollo wouldn't exist, Trucy wouldn't exist, and we would have no GS4.

I understand where a lot of the Thalassa hate comes from, because she was a very impulsive woman while in the Troupe, overcome by the thrill of fame. (Recall that the Troupe Gramarye faded off after Thalassa "died.") But having Machi as a partner roused her maternal instinct once more and made her much more mature, even though she never really knew it. In a way, it was a subconscious preparation for when she met her own children.

I see her as a mysterious and beautiful character with a very open-ended story, which I hope is explored further in GS5 onwards. Her only problem? She chose Zak. Now that is a move I would regret making.

You can't not love this guy. There is absolutely no way. None at all. If he didn't have you at "Alakazoooooooomg!," then there is no hope. His younger self is sexy as all heck. He's just so dapper and sophisticated. He's a very strong person, too, if you think about it. He was ignored by Thalassa, denied rights by Magnifi, and basically stripped of his credibility during 4-4 - and all the while, he still presses on, doing what he loves - magic. Even though he lives in a one-bedroom apartment, he still presses on, trying the best he can with his own repertoire. This is another character I could talk with over tea, and possibly marry. <3 (Girl obsessed with magicians here ;P)

YES! An awesome character all around. Ever since I saw her in court the first time, I was like "me and this girl could get along very, very well." Although she's tough on the outside, she's just a big marshmallow. She backs down from Pearl, and she cries openly in front of Edgeworth. Living up to her father's expectations (trying, anyway), wanting nothing short of perfection, looking down upon everyone else as fools - and yet, feeling pressured by it all, yet keeping a cool manner and trying not to show it. I can't wait to hear more about her early years in AAI.

10. Lotta Hart.
If you told her there was scoop at the bottom of a cliff, she'd gladly jump off it.

Take the tricks, the lady, and the fame - then disappear in a puff of smoke. Oh wow, great thinking. Never mind that you're leaving your only daughter behind.

Also, he's a jerk.

6. Mike Meekins.
I was playing 1-5 in the car with the volume up, and after his megaphone went off for the first time, my mom was like "what is that NOISE?!" I was wondering the same thing. There's a funny little thing called "feedback." It's bad for your megaphone, it's annoying and it doesn't do us any favors. TURN IT OFF.

5. Manfred von Karma.
Pretty warped old man. I can't believe Edgeworth and Fran had to grow up with this guy. I'd do anything to get out of there with a guy like him ruling the roost. Anything at all. Also, satanic objection.

4. Grossberg.
Because everyone playing this game wants to hear about your hemorrhoids. Yeah, they hurt, Good for you. Now get your fat rear a prescription.

3. Spark Brushel.

2. Godot.
Can't stand this guy. I always felt like I was the only one. He drinks from a deep mug, but his dialogue and motives are shallow at best. He had a cooler personality as Diego - the cup-breaking was awesome, and he was so nice to Mia. But when Dollie poisoned him, he lost not only his sight, he lost all of his charm. T&T's trials were pretty slow, save for the last two, and it was almost all thanks to this guy. I don't want to watch you drink coffee, thanks.

1. JEAN ARMSTRONG.
Do not want. Cannot want. Would not want if somebody paid me. The pink and muscular embodiment of all that is evil.

The lady Abandoned Polly, damnmt!

Emm... I think being shot, losing your memory, being on intensive care and being sent to a north-European country is a good justification for abandoning a son, isn't it? After all, when she recovered her memory she wanted to meet her children again. That shows lack of abandoning intent

Considering Magnifi was the kind of guy who thought nothing of using his daughter's accident to blackmail his students for no real reason, Valant was the kind of guy who thought nothing of using his mentor's suicide to frame his partner for murder, and Zak was a jerk (enough said), I think keeping Apollo away from the Gramaryes was actually one of Thalassa's better calls.

7. Best villain and just so jolly.

9. A killer but a gentleman. Enough so that I wouldn't mind having lunch with him.

It takes the emotion out of T&T's ending.
