Susie smiled nervously. She wasn't very photogenic, or indeed outgoing, but the woman seemed nice enough. It would be pleasant to have someone else along.
"We would be delighted to have your assistance. My name is Susie, as Mr Credable said. I have something to ask of you - please don't mention me in the article. I'd rather not have any publicity, if you don't mind. And I'm sure Mr Credable can provide you with all the information you require, Ms. Penn," Susie's blue oceans of eyes gazed at Paige unwaveringly as she asked her favour.

Despite the usually stoic face she tried to keep on, Xi-Feng could help but raise a hand and hide her face as she surpressed a giggle. She had found that many people had troubled with pronoucing her name here. "Xi-Feng is fine, really. Or just Feng, if it simplifies matters."

Nodding as he mentioned discussing later, she stood up, trailing after him as he went to let the other woman on. A journalist? Mr. Credable certainly looked pleasantly surprised by this, and when he introduced himself and his assistant - and even her - Xi-Feng blinked, startled. Offering Paige a smile, she gave the journalist a small bow of her head, before turning to look at Ben. "Again, thank you very much. Please call me when you're ready to check out my dorm room." She paused, and then added, "If neither you nor your first client oppose it, if given the chance, I would also like to see how you conduct your investigations if possible. Again, just give me a call."

Turning, she bowed at the waist to the small group - a habit that had been drilled into her by her parents in Zheng Fa - before slipping out the door.

"Well," Ben began, wondering if Char would agree on having her apartment covered in a story. "Strictly, Ms. Paige, it's all up to my client. It is her home you wish to cover. Though I doubt it'll hurt to ask. We were just about to head over for lunch right now. You are welcome to join." He turned to also invite Feng, but saw she was out the doorway. "...well anyway. It's five past noon and it would be rude to keep her waiting. If you two wish, you could carpool within my van."

Paige noticed Xi-Feng bowing to her waist after speaking, and concluded that she was from Zheng Fa from this gesture. Then, turning her attention back to Ben, she gladly nodded her head to his invitation. "I would appreciate it very much," Paige told him, and stood up, opening the door for the investigator and his assistant. "As you said, we'd best not keep your client waiting. I also need your client's consent to cover this, so hopefully, she will oblige."

Char got ready a large dinner that had its roots in the culture of Zheng Fa. She smiled and served everything outside in her backyard. The rain was letting up, and everything was a bit wet, but that was all. She petted her husky and went back inside to get the plates.

"Right," Ben started off but stopped before Paige. "And just to clear this up, if my client does agree to the interview, respect Susie's request about leaving her out of the story." He wasn't sure why Susie wished such, but he would respect her request as her new boss. "Anyway, the van is parked withing storage on the ground floor. If you'll follow me."

He started to explain the van to them as they took the stairs. "The van was actually quite a bargain I got at the police auction. It was a former crew van for Global Studios used in some case nearly ten years ago, or so I think. I was able to buy it, salvage and renovate it, and turning it into my very own company van. All the equipment we need is stored there. Cameras, speakers, as well as...a few of my own personal gadgetries. Ah..." He notice it was raining less outside now. "Good, I won't get as wet as I thought I would. Storage is this way." He lead them to a garage door. Pulling open the door, he revealed his means of transportation. A large van slighly worn with age, with the mascot of Global Studios barely visible on the hood. "Isn't she beautiful?" he asked, smiling warmly upon his van.

Paige nodded at Ben, and said, "Of course. I sha'n't include her in the article if she does not wish it, since I must respect her rights." Then, after the investigator stepped out, she went out as well, and closed the door behind her, following them towards the garage downstairs. She then saw the company van, and listened to Ben's story. "I think I've heard of this," Paige remarked. "This was the van in the Will Powers trial, if I recall correctly. The case had quite a bit of coverage because the defense attorneyin that trial just defeated the legendary prosecutor in that case in a previous trial." Then she examined the vehicle, and nodded, taking down some notes.

"If you would, Ms Penn, please take the side seat in the back. You can take notes on the equipment I'm bringing for the investigation." He paused and thought for a moment, he promised that Feng girl she could come witness the investigation as well. He flipped open his cell phone and dial the number she gave.

After she had left the office, Xi-Feng had found herself in the small, quaint cafe that she usually frequented. As it was only a couple of blocks away from the office, the young woman was extremely pleased to get out of the cold - at least the raining had slowed down a bit - and into the warm haven. The woman who managed the cafe glanced up and offered a welcoming smile. "Your usual drink?"

"Yes please." Xi-Feng returned the smile with one of her own, one that was actually passable for a smile from the usually straight-faced girl. As the woman turned away to start with the tea, Xi-Feng began to sit down, only the have her cellphone ring. Surprised, she flipped open her pouch and pulled the cellphone out, giving the other customers a weak look of apology for the noise before flipping it open.

"Yes, this is Xi-Feng?"

After a bit more examination of the exterior of the semi-worn-out van, Ben turned to Paige and instructed, "If you would, Ms Penn, please take the side seat in the back. You can take notes on the equipment I'm bringing for the investigation." Paige nodded with a quaint smile, and replied, "With gratitude, Mr. Credable." Then she walked to the back door, and opened it, stepping up into the vehicle. She was excited, as there was a variety of equipment inside the van, and was quite curious about their different functions. "This could turn out better than I thought," she whispered as she seated herself on the side seat.

I've been away for far too long.

"It's not likely to happen," Ben assured, pulling down the goggles strapped to his forehead. "STAT, uplink." Within the lens of his right eye data began to roll up. "The GPS is only one of my connections through these special goggles. All of my equipment is set to it. After assessing the network, I simply follow the route set into the screen in my goggles." An arrow appearing in his screen pointing forward. "We should be fine," he stated taking the first turn.

Paige listened in on the conversation. "All this equipment and [i]GPS? It seems as though he only recently opened this business, so how did he earn enough money for all of the advanced technology he has at present?" Paige pondered, jotting down this small mystery, deciding to discuss this with the PI. "Mr. Credable, if I may ask," she put in, "since I presume you are only starting in this business, how did you obtain the necessary equipment? Did you have a previous job or such?"

"Funny you should ask," he said, making another turn. "I've been saving a whole lot when I was old enough to open my own account. During my time in college, I worked both in an electronic repair shop, and at an old junk yard. As well as being a paranormal investigator, I've worked with all kinds of electronics. During that time, well...I had a knack for creating new things out of spare parts, Most of the equipment I bought for a bargain and repaired good as new. And STATs here," he tapped his goggle, "or Standard Tactical Administer Tech, is my own little program for all my equipment, I can acess feeds from cameras, listen to audio pickups, and even switch vision modes."

"I see," she stated, looking out the window to see the route to the first client's house, seeing houses and trees lining the road. Nearing the location, Paige then turned back to Ben, and inquired, "I've forgotten to ask this previously, so what is your first client's name, Mr. Credable?"

"Her name is Charlette Styx," Ben replied. "She came in asking me to investigate a possible spectre causing mischief in her appartment. Breaking thing and such. She had proof, so its worth investigating. More than likely it's a Class 2, Impish Ghost, Not malicious, just wants attention."

Susie looked out of the window, listening to Mr. Credable and the journalist's conversation whilst taking a look at the scenery. She yawned, tired and still a bit wet from earlier. She had never been a very healthy person, but she vowed inwardly not to let that interfere with her new job.

In such cases, it would drawn heat from the air, creating cold spots, Now alone, it's not enough to make proof of paranormal activity, but the cold spot, combined with the houseware falling an breaking on the floor makes a good case." Bio: Cless has lived a rather... Unfortunate life. Ever since he was born nearly every form of paranormal being known to mankind has wanted his body for numerous reasons. Possession is the main reason but some also want to eat him. His Family bloodline has always been chased by spirits due to the fact that their genetic structure being different thanks to a freak mutation. For some reason it attracts spirits and demons by giving off an odd smell only they can smell and it's supposed to be....Arousing.

The Line is only barely alive thanks to rise of some rather voracious demons and too many ghosts wanting new bodies just to kill it off because they are too happy and do stupid things. Cless is currently the last Male in the Line and when he turned 12 his Mother told him numerous tips on how avoid spirits and live off the land. For the past 8 years Cless has been fleeing numerous Spirits and has finally found what he hopes to be a place that can help his unique problem...

As the van came to a halt in front of an apartment building, Paige flipped her notepad back to its cover, and put it in one of her jacket pockets, zipping it closed. "Here we are, I suppose," she said as she stood up to open the van's back door. She walked out and closed the door behind her, saying, "At least the rain has stopped for now," though the ground was still quite wet. She then scanned the surroundings, waiting for her two companions to come out as well.

Finally, we're here. A chance to do some detective work, I think... Gracefully leaping off of the van without a hint of a thump, Susie tightened her hair scrunchie and got out her clipboard to write some notes for Mr. Credable, should he need them. She pondered what equipment they would be using out of the many pieces in the van.
"Mr. Credable, are we using any equipment? Do you need me to carry anything? I'm quite weak, I'm afraid, but I want to try and be of use,"

Stepping out of the van, Ben deactivated the STAT withing his goggles, pulling them back up to his forehead. He to a quick look around the complex, taking note on which apartment was Char's. The sound of Susie's voice brought him back from his thought's however. "Don't worry about the equipment, Susie," he smiled. "I've got the muscle to work with. And since the apartment number shoud be on the ground floor, it'll be easy."

((Huh...How to start it off...))

Cless had finally managed to the city where this "Paranormal P.I" was supposed to be. Cless managed to find out about him thanks to a newspaper some guy threw at him when he was sleeping on a Park Bench. It took Cless a bit longer than he'd thought it would to find the office but of course, He hadn't asked for directions once....

When Cless finally walked up to the offices front door he was soaked from the rain. Cless shivered as he knocked a few times... A few minutes later he knocked again...And again. And again.

"Oh god....That article....Was it a Hoax? ...Or is he just not here right now...Might as well wait..."

((Feels off to me...Couldn't figure out a good start..Yeah. That's it... Totally not sleep deprivation...))

((well, considering Ben might not be back to the office for a while, it may be better to redo the into. Perhaps you could run into Feng at the diner she's eating at, and start from there. Guess I could also put up a summary of the current events as well.))

((Actually, I was planning on doing that by him getting bored of waiting and wandering about. He isn't very patient.Wait she at a Diner? ))

"Any second now...Any...Second...Bah. Screw it, I got to eat something and I'm not going to break into his office to get me some food."

Cless was sick of waiting even though he had been there for a few short minutes. Probably the fact that he always had to run from something Supernatural along with his natural short attention span...And the fact that he thinks something is watching him right now.... Cless stood back up and brushed himself off and started to walk away from the office when suddenly a little girl in a school uniform approached him.

"Hey Mister, You smell good."

"Smell Good....Uh....You aren't a..."

"A What?"

"Uhhhh.......I'm looking for a place to eat....you know of one?"

"Oh, There is a great little Cafe I know of! It isn't far away either! I'll show you cuz you smell real good...I wonder why...."

Cless knew what this little girl was, She had to be a Ghost though it seemed she wasn't to violent as of yet...And she knew of a place to eat....Against his better reasoning Cless decided to follow the little girl. A few minutes of cautious following and they arrived at a Quaint Cafe. The Little Girl smiled and ushered Cless in. When Cless got in he was greeted by warmth and a pleasant smell. Cless looked around for a table and sat down and quickly made a puddle of water from his drenched Clothes. The Manager looked up and Smiled at him.

"What will you have?"

"Hmm....Got some good Warm Tea?"

"Coming right up"

Ben checked his sheets onces again, tring to find the right apartment number. "It IS on the ground floor," he thought out loud. He checked every single number until he found the right one. "Ah, here we are," he said with a grin, and knocked on the door, waiting for Char to answer.

Since Kaiyumi hasn't post in the Spin the Bottle RP, I'm assuming she's having computer trouble and have her character set on haiatus until I hear from her. Game, if you'd like, you could meet up with us at the appartments....))

"Hello, ChaaaaAAAARRRR....!!" Ben was not expecting a dog to greet him. Though unexpected, he wasn't upset. He laughed as the dog licked him with his slobbery tongue. "Down! Down, boy!" he said, laughing. He regain composure when Char pulled him off if him. "It's quite alright. I love dogs. Anyway, before we eat, I just want to ask you something. We have a reporter here that would like to cover this investigation for her article. As the client, it's up to you if you'd like this published. So, what do you say?"

Paige waited as she observed Ben walking up to his client's door, being met by her dog. Char came out to the entrance, and after a bit of discussion, went towards Paige. She walked to them, and said with a nod, "Good afternoon. It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Styx."

((Sorry for the short post, but I can't say much yet. I think I have writer's block, anyhow.))

I've been away for far too long.
So long, in fact, that all of my signatures now exist behind a paywall.
