The king nodded, "That.... is a very sad tale... You have permission."

He quickly wrote a letter, and handed it to Dawn, "That will allow you into most sealed off areas. Riku, go to the research and Devolpment arrow, and see what they have to give."

Riku nodded, "I hear and obey,Sire."

With that, Riku got and and dashed away.

"Please, save my daughter." The King and said, and went to his bedroom, probably to grieve.

***
Riku gazed at the object in front of him, "So... this will allow telecommunication?"

A devolpment lackie bowed, "We took it from an acient temple... the 3rd princess used it to communicate with the hero... we simply made it more travelable."

They were two miniature emeralds, each the size of a walnut.

"And here we have...."

She was quickly interuppted by a frantic shout, "Trechery! The King has been slain!!!"

"WHAT!!!!!!!" Riku said, once again making a mad dash.

The same man from before, only with a large wound in his chest, looked at Riku, and gave bare a grin, and vanished into the night, a sword through a man he had only just spoken to.

Dawn was just leaving the throne room when she heard the king cried out.
"What the-!" She burst into the room to find the man from before vanish. "Curses! Sir!" Dawn rushed to the fallen king. She took the sword out and cradled the king in her arms.
"Sir, whatever I do, I WILL bring Princess Zelda back." She assured him.
"Yes..." And the king died in her arms.

"He will not get away with this." Riku vowed. He silently tossed an emerald to Dawn, and explained their use. "Come, we're leaving. We have an Idiot t catch."

Dawn nodded and walked out of the castle to retrieve her things from the hotel. As she walked out, Dawn remembered the sword. Making her way back to her room, she got a feeling that someone was watching here.
"... Whatever." Dawn strapped on the sword and checked out of the hotel. She waited for Riku in the courtyard, saddling her horse.

Riku saddled his horse, and met Dawn in the court. "It seems we need to use the princess' words. Unsealing the hero should give us a few answers.
I believe she said "First is deep, deep in the ground."

"I remember it well. This is what I remember actually.
First way deep, deep in the ground,
one in the place that keeps the dead down.
third in the place where sorrow strives,
fourth in place with a deathly dive!

Although, I have none as to where could the first way is. I can only think of the Goron mines." Dawn mounted her horse and turned it to face Riku.

"Sure." Dawn clicked her tongue, and her horse trotted to the town gate. She checked her map and compass while Riku followed her. "I'm guessing that we should go to Karikaro Village to get to the mines, right?"

Dawn grinned. "Race ya there." She led the horse into a gallop as she said those words. "C'mon, Snowfire, you know you don't want to be beaten by a stallion, do you?" Dawn muttered as she got closer to the village.

"I'll have you know that this is the top breed of Royal Stallion... Run, Zangetsu!" Riku shouted, easily equalling Dawn's gallop., until they reached the fairy fountian.

Dawn grinned. "Maybe... you would like to show your best speed, Snow?" The horse neighed in response. Dawn drew her sword and raised it in the air. "CHAAAARRRGGGEEE FOR JUSTICE!" She shouted as Snow reared up and sprinted the last meters to the fountain, outdistancing Zangetsu.

Snowfire snorted as if to say: "But I'm always more trouble than I'm worth."

"Yeah... you sure about that, Riku? This is a battlehorse too, y'know. He might as well kick you to Lake Hylia." Dawn smirked. "But then, if you volunteer... I have no problem with that. I'll go meet the fairy." She exchanged a glance with Snowfire, and smirked even more. Then she walked to the fountain.

"I know how to handle horses." Riku countered, making sure to stay well away from the horses' rear end. He quickly fed both horses some carrots, and tied them suberply to a nearby tree. He then took off the sadles to brush them, and pick the dirt and other things from their hooves.

Snowfire snorted and kicked Riku with her front legs. "She can kick equally well with her front and back!" Dawn shouted. She whistled as she walked to the fountain. Snowfire glared at Riku and harrumphed.

"A... harp?" Dawn said. "Well, then, let me accompany you with my flute." She took out a pouch and put together her flute. Dawn blew into it, and it produced a light, lilting tune that fitted the slow melody of the harp.

Light trill and low melody caused the fairy in the fountain to stir. Riku gazed at the beautiful fairy, "Mmmm... that was a good song...RIku Sena, and Dawn Luminaire, how may I be of service?"

"No WAIT, LEMME GUESS!" The fairy said, inturrpting them, "You want assassitance of some sort..."

"The easiest way would be through the village., in a caved in mine shaft Be careful, though... they're acting strange. It's almost like a repeat of the twilight incident." The fairy replied.

She flicked her fingers.
A medallion appeared on Riku's second sword. "Take the power of ether with you." She said

"And what will Ms. Luminaire have?" SHe asked.

"I-it's Sarak, sir. I was with Ms. Dawn earlier, but I got separated during the confusion at the castle. I had learned you were heading here, so I ended up making my way here with a group of traders in exchange for entertainment. I also recieved this," said Sarak pulling out a fish-shaped guitar. "I believe it is a traditional Zora instrument, though they haven't been used in many years."

I would like to join if that alright with everyone. I will introduce my character at a more appropriate time in the story

Name: Jennings
Age: 23
Race: Sheikah
appearence: Usually wears a black fedora. Likes to dress stylish with different suit jackets. Black pants and very light black and green shoes. White fingerless gloves
Short brown hair that spikes up in the front, red eyes. Always takes off his suit before a fight. His shirt underneath is tight and dark grey. has a bag around his shoulder. Stands out in a crowd. Some may say he is handsome ;)
Weapon of choice: A small sword that can retract with a push of a button.
Inventory : a brown bag that slings over the shoulder. Not much inside except two red potions, some food, an ocarina, a small knife, a fragment of a shiny piece of metal that acts as a vanity mirror. and a boomarang
bio: Jennings is what people call a lone wanderer, he travels around looking for treasure to loot and sell he has made many friends in his travels by helping them with their problems. They say that he a has a sense of humor and jokes around a lot. He doesn't take things seriously when he probably should but when someones life is at stake he will give his life to help. He spends a lot of times at pubs gambling and getting into fights. He claims he was of the sheikah but got exiled for some reason. He doesn't like to take a lot of things with him. in is bag is not what he takes with him but what he finds along the way. His specailties are using his surroundings and improvizing.

[Jennings is also very reliable and will not neglect to respond]
"The bag is not for what I take. It's for what I find along the way."
