Meekins kept a close listen into the conversation, though still greatly suspicious of Prosecutor Tyler. However, once Kurtis began talking about his work as a detective, Meekins couldn't help but take every word into account. And after hearing some of his questions answered, he decided to ask a couple of his own.
"Uhm, sir? If I may ask, if I'm not being rude or anything, but...w-would someone like myself have a chance at your status, sir?" Meekins asked, saluting as proud as he could, but still a bit shaky with nerves.
Why are my eyes spinning in such an abnormal fashion, sir?!

"What?!" She yelled, stepping out. There he was, down below with a...jetpack on his back? Cecelia looked closer at the cannon and realised it was not a medeival cannnon like she first thought, but rather a massive gun-like object that had all sorts of gadgets on it.
"Well then...Better get down and check if he's behaving." Cecelia said, marching down and out of the building.
"Ah, Karou, glad to see you're back on your own two feet." Cecelia said, not sounding very glad at all.
"Is he causing any trouble for you now? Because I can sue him if you want." Cecelia said, hands on hips.

Meekins kept his distance from the crowd, watching carefully on the doctor, Date and especially Tyler. He didn't exactly enjoy the idea of trying out the cannon, so he remained silent on his option. Starting to feel unrequired, Meekins began back for the precinct, then stopped dead, remembering the fact he still had a job to do, and hasn't done a bit of it! Hastily, he began off for his route, hoping not much else happened without his knowing.

"Here ya go. If you get in legal trouble, I can always help. Plus I'm in debt. No-one EVER pays us defense attorneys."
