Yeah, after reading a bit about the plot I think it will definitely involve flying.

Spoiler:
Apparently, the diving off the cliff is an important plot point. Also, Link lives on a island in the sky and Aonuma has talked a lot about flying being the next gimmick.

I also love the enemy designs. xD
Spoiler:
This is a Bokoblin. I like it. It looks more like a real troll/goblin instead of a humanoid pig like before.

This looks like a Deku Scrub, but according to ZeldaWiki it's an Octorok. (I know I'm a nerd, STFU)

Stalfos. Lookin pretty cool.

Also, I'm glad you can take out several bat enemies (Keeses, I think) at once with the whip. I always hated those.

Oh cool them enimies look awesome. The cell-shaded look is defenitly paying off here.
And you can take out more than one bat at the same time? Thank god. I HATE those bats.

Yeah, that skeleton looks interesting, as does the octorok. It does look like a deku scrub though. It should be.

Spoiler: plot
SO falling off cliffs is a big plot-point eh? Lets hope they dont cram tons of cliffs in the game to make it seem unatural.
And I wonder how the flying will control.

it IS a deku scrab
and I don't think it looks any like an oktorok
oktorok have a total different head shape

and the flying sounds like fun
but I wonder how the sidekick will be 'prepares for annoyance'

The new enemy designs do look quite good, though I agree the second one should be a Deku Scrub. (Which seem to have faded from existance)

I'm also growing to like the cel-shading, it does seem like a good design choice.

I start to like the Cel shading as well, yet
I was just shocked, I mean: I have that poster hanging in my room for months, and I was assuming every day: It would be TP-like, and after watching more and more cel-shading stuff I gotta say: YES WE CAN!, play adult link with cel-shading

but I gotta get wii motion plus somewhere, meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh

I think the main thing I'm liking is that, despite the cel-shading, the environments aren't TOO colorful, they're somewhat natural looking. The exact opposite seems to usually be the norm for cel-shading.

Also, I too am going to have to get motion plus, unfortunately.

1:1 movement. Iit's pretty cool.

MotionPlus was confirmed for Zelda Wii as soon as it was announced at last year's E3, it's not like it should be a surprise.

it was with the games Wii Sports Resort and Red Steel
yet it is gay that there is an attachment needed to play it and that you need to buy some random game to get that shit

Oh, I see. Thanks.

I think I hate this fanbase. People are complaining already. I still don't get what's so "realistic" about TP. Look at the deformed characters and then tell me it's realistic. That's right, it isn't. Because Zelda has never been about the story, or realism, or whatever. Zelda has always been about adventuring, exploring and actually having, y'know, fun. If Nintendo wanted to make a freaking movie where you have to press A to proceed in the story every now and then, they would have hired a new writing team since a long time back.

I'm gonna have to side with Marche on this one. I'm not looking for a freaking 70-hour epic with a Zelda game, I don't need an excessively convoluted plot. If I want a detailed plot, I'll find a series known for plot, and not complain that my adventure/exploring series can have its story explained in a couple of paragraphs.

Ehh, why did you have to bring those up?

But still, not ALL the NPCs were ridiculous. (The whole freedom force, with Shad and Ashai or whatever is the first to come to mind.)

Sorry, but i'm not shelling out 80 quid for better movements. It may make gameplay more fun but as of yet I have no games compatible so Its unlikely I will be getting this. Nevermind.

What was wrong was Twilight Princess's poor sales in Japan, plus Wind Wakers GREAT sales in Japan (fifth best-selling GC game in Japan.), which is a reason why they're going back to cel-shading.

So, what your saying is that you'd want a very minimal plot in a Zelda game (WHICH IS NORMALLY PLOT DRIVEN) just so you can have mindless hacky-slash sooner? You clearly don't like Zelda for a lot of the reasons it shines, Majora's Mask is arguably one of the best Zelda games because of it's story elements.

Alright, I admit I said that rather hastily,(Also half-asleep) what I meant was that I don't want people complaining that 'Oh, this game's plot is too simplistic, there's not enough plot twists' or some crap like that. I LIKE the amount of plot that some of the games (Including, like you said, Majora's Mask) have, I'm just tired of people compaining that the plot is too small/simple compared to other fantasy games, etc.

Sorry to come off as a mindless asshat who only plays Zelda to slice shit up, I DO like the storytelling in the Zelda games, but I don't want it to become something extremely convoluted just to please the complainers.

I agree, the story telling in the Zelda games is good where it's at. It's not meant to be an RPG going 70 hours. Leave that to well... 70 Hour RPGs.

And I think the big issue for most people (including me), is that this game looks like it won't be as mature an entry into the series as the others. I mean, the graphics are just laughable. Compare Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. Wind Waker has very cartoony and bright graphics, and has a less mature and dark story. Twilight Princess has very detailed and while still somewhat vibrant, are grittier and darker than other Zelda games, and in turn it has one of the most mature and dark stories of the Zelda series (behind Majora's Mask).

Majora's Mask brilliantly set the tone for being dark by using a lot of purple, red, and green colors. TP just pretty much had everything covered in brown. Honestly, I hated the colors for TP. I much more welcome the color that's in this new game. To me, it feels more like a kick back to the older games. Yeah, it may not be that darkened game you all want, but heck, I loved Link's Awakening and that's one of the more fun, lighthearted games. Say what you want, but as long as it isn't terrible like the ones on the DS, I openly welcome it. My only hope is it isn't generic like TP and the items you get will be completely useless. TP is one of my least favorites out of the franchise and I felt they went in the completely wrong direction with it, all because people wanted "realism."
