Greece's a weird team. They lost to South Korea (hahaha South Korea) for 2-0, and now they beat Nigeria 2-1. So I really don't know what to expect from Tuesday's Argentina-Greece

I don't rate them, they're playing shit. Truth to be told the game made a huge twist 'cause of the retarded red card, who the heck is goin' to do that when your team is in the lead. After the red card for Nigeria the game obviously came into Greece's hand. They managed to scrap a win, but unimpressed me.

As for today's games, lmao@ Germany, that was such an inexperienced red card for Klose. He should know better. I am curious if they are able to turn the game their way in the second half.

If there's someone to blame it's the referee, the red card was unnecessary just like most of the yellow ones.
You can't really say Serbia was better, they just had more luck.

Podolski missed the penalty kick, so what?
Even the best players do.

So you better shut up.

But choosing Podolski to shoot was a big mistake
before that he had 2 great chances what lowered his confidence
The expression in his face before shooting told 1000 words, how much unsure he was

another reason why i like holland,
they are always active, on camara or not,
they (the holland supporters) even traveled with car to watch these football matches

from holland to south-africa , thats at least a month riding!

Amazing thing, television. You can be absolutely bored out of your mind, then if you see yourself, you automatically become a smiling, giddy moron, shouting "Hi Mum" between every "Come on *Country's name here*!".

England is sunk. Doomed. 4-4-2 can go and die. I dug out my 2005 home shirt for this! :edgeworth:

The US had to beat Slovenia 3-2, but for some fucking reason the referee just went "LOL NO THAT GOAL WAS ACTUALLY LIKE NOT A GOAL LMAO" and they had to draw 2-2.

Anyway, now that Germany lost (poor Podolski), and after France and Spain's defeat, this World Cup is really going through a twist for the unpredictable. Most top teams and candidates are drawing or losing and some even getting kicked out (France, but there may be more to come).

Promising teams that can be kicked out and I would love that they did:
-England
-Côte d'Ivoire
-Switzerland (or Spain...!?)

Please God let it be so.

You know what's the catch? If you don't get kicked out, you'll probably end up beating us in quarter-finals. That's why I say "would love that they did". And, right now, you're third in your group, which doesn't qualify.
So yeah, I don't think you'll get kicked out, but if you did, it would be a relief. For me, at least :/

I'm not even that big a fan of football, but just to get through to the next round I think would lift everyones spirits a little bit, make us happy for once instead of depressed.

The goal we scored was so cheeky though. We had a lot of shots-on-goal, but most missed. I have to say our goalkeeper was Ace tonight.

England, fuck yeah~! All the schools in our area either ended early or let the students watch the match on a giant screen, it was epic.

That 91-minute USA goal was pretty hilarious. England's first out of Group C...! ...no, they're not.

Haha, England has one heck of a way to get to the finals. Firstly probably: Germany, then Argentina/Mexico/ followed by Spain?/Brazil/Netherlands/Italy?

If they came in first they would've had: Serbia/Ghana, South Korea/Uruguay, and don't know from there on. Haha, just great.

Yeah so Germany just won thanks to the awesome Mesut Özil. The nice Australians did a good job too. ^^

Anyway, we'll face England. Imo it would have been better if we had to play against the US, but I won't complain or anything like that. :grossburg:

Now that we're in the knockout stages there can be no tie games - only winners.

It'll go to extra time and finally penalties if it has to.
Does we even do these things anymore?

Well England Sucks but the German team is not too good as well
Jogi Löw the coach made a much too young team. They may be good but they have no real lead player. and I highly doubt they will come into the final

You know a World Cup is exceptional when the current champion gets kicked out in the group stage... below Paraguay, Slovaquia and New Zealand. Ciao Italia.

Now, this World Cup could only get more bizarre if Spain or Portugal got kicked out.

If that does happen, then Spain will be kicked out, and Switzerland will be 2nd of its group (or 1st, depends on goals), qualifying alongside Chile. And leaving the road open for Brasil and Portugal, but who cares!

Update: holy crap Cameroon's tying with Netherlands and Japan's beating Denmark 2-0. If Cameroon scores two more goals, and the matches end Netherlands 1 - Cameroon 3 and Japan 2 - Denmark 0, then Japan would be first of its group, Netherlands second. Right now, with this tie, Netherlands' first, and Japan second.
I shouldn't be worrying, but the Group E runner-up can be against us in the quarter-finals, if we do get there. But there's a slim chance, since England and Germany are in there.
