OT: About Sonic Games: I could never stand them, first it is way to fast and the controls are way too shit FOR ME
also all the rings are your health and you lose all once you get hit is pretty. . . seems pretty stupid to me

OT: I actually liked the 2-D games, the controls were pretty fluid, to me anyway, it had great music, and Sonic & Knuckles is one of my favorite games of all time. As for the 3D games, weeeellll... First off, Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 were pretty good, but just about every Sonic game afterwards has been shit, (With the sole exception of the Sonic Unleashed Day stages, IMO)
I was also never really good at FF either, I always either failed miserably from the get-go, or got stuck at that ONE BOSS or that ONE AREA. Unfortunately, never played Golden Sun.

Sonic adventure 2 was actually pretty fun... live and learn was a plus... the first level as sonic is simply fun to play, and good for ring-collecting...

Yeah, FF is kinda fun, I just suck at it. (Just don't get me started on the individual games)

The jungle was pretty nice, though I can't remember, was Shadow's version timed as well? I'd also throw down Radical Highway, the first real Shadow level, and Tails's version of the same level, especially Tails's because of JET ATTACKS!

Patapon is a rhythm-action game. Same genre as Ouendan/EBA, Parappa, Rhythm Heaven, etc.
Going back to Zelda 2, it had a lot of good ideas and is actually closer in playstyle to the current 3D Zeldas than the other classic games in the series, but a lot of bad ideas ruined it. Losing experience every time you took damage, losing ALL of your experience every time you lost all your lives and had to continue, being sent all the way back to the North Palace every time you lost all your lives, having a set number of lives in the first place, having a sword that was only like three pixels long... You get the point.
