But with each gen the metagame changes and some old PKMN become more obsolete,and they have to beef them up with new evos and items and whatever. You don't know how the changes will affect Skarm's viability...
I'd prefer he gets some uber moves/items though, as the evo may be less appealing. Like I used to like Electabuzz and Magmar, but Electivire is mediocre and Magmortar is hideous.

Seconded. There's no point in giving Skarmory an evo, but some sort of move/item to beef it up wouldn't be a problem.

Most of them have just used previous Pokemon as a base, their features and stance shows it all.
Isn't that just because most of them are evolutions of old Pokemon?

Some of these "creative fan ideas" are pretty lazy. Check out Herovor, Pruddy, Silvicious (in twice, lol), Kidlit, Blimpoon, Raizodon, Trraz, Lunape, Flearoe (and any other cat-based Pokemon there), Snuffuz, Seagic, and Himalama.

While I doubt that would happen, that DOES sound awesome, also makes me want to see a real Pokemon fighting game, though there's no way they could pack in everything. (One gen only, maybe?)

Coffin might just be a Spirittomb knock-off, similar to how I said earlier that Gear (GEAR?! SERIOUSLY?!) was a Magnemite knock-off.

I loved Pokemon Colosseum [I only wish it was longer and had more pokemon in it]. Best storyline in a pokemon game EVER. That would be simply amazing if they ever did something like that again. I love villains/ex-villains as the MC...
OH, I JUST HAD AN IDEA. What if you can use the stylus to fling the pokeball at the pokemon to try to catch it? That would be fun. =D

It's been confirmed to be real, as one can tell from the video preview that came out after the sketch was leaked. That new pokemon next to Jessie's head kind of bugs me though - it kind of looks like a fusion of zubat and koffing.
