PHOENIX WRIGHT: OPPRESSING OFFICIALS
When looking through my archive of un-finished games, I came across this one. Phoenix Wright: Oppressing Officials was not just any regular Phoenix Wright game. Sure, it did have Visual Novel elements to is, but that's not what made it special. The secret behind this one is that it was more of a fighter than a visual novel. How is this possible you ask? Well it goes along like this: A murder has taken place, and you play as the humble lawyer Phoenix Wright, the court proceedings involve you kicking the tar out of the prosecutor. This happens with controls ranging from a regular light and fast attack, to a more powerful special attack. (Most of the time being an OBJECTION!) There are items coming from the several cases in the Phoenix Wright series (Like the thinker, and cell phone) which can be thrown to inflict damage. There is also this smash-ball-esque item called "The final verdict" in which the character will inflict severe damage to the opponent. There are multi-player options, and an attention grabbing story line, all nicely packaged into a fighting game.
I made this game roughly 2 years ago with game maker and, due to a complete electrical hard drive failure, was unable to make a finished version. Now, starting from scratch, I plan to make a complete version of this game using Stencyl. With original Fighter sprites, and what-not.
The demo of the game made with game maker, can be played here:

Right now, The progress on the game is close to null. Reasons being that before I start actual programming on the game, I want sprite work done, so that way I won't have to edit programing when a sprite doesn't match up with a different one, etc etc. So as of right now, I'm working on the Phoenix sprites of him walking and punching... this could take awhile....
Feedback is always nice, and... well I'm kind of short on hands with the spriteing, so if anyone wants to help with that, please don't hesitate to ask.
Did I mention that this is my first post on this site... Be easy on me guys.
