When Brock left during the Orange Islands, I honestly didn't care. His gags were getting old at that point, and they're beyond old in Diamond and Pearl.
Sees girl -> dirty thoughts -> ear grab by female protagonist/punched in the gut by Croagunk -> dragged off.
Everyone gets it by now and it lost its humour. In other words, it's a forced gag (much like 'blasting off again', however there are more than one hundred variations on that gag relating to the setting of the episode).

I LOVE the look of Team Plasma, don't you guys? It looks like they stepped from the middle ages. It makes a change for all the other evil organisations being all futuristic and stuff. I am intruiged by them. What's their plan?

And, oh yeah, I totally support the redesign of Joy and Jenny. Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny haven't look like their game counterparts for a very long time, as the Sinnoh Joy's are not similar to the Kanto, Johto and Hoenn Joy's.

I admit my usage of Smugleaf to refer to the Grass starter may seem hypocritical. Smugleaf is in fact, only a simple fan nickname that has acheived widespread popularity. I doubt that it is going to be the actual English name, but I've gotten so used to Smugleaf, that's probably what I'm going to end up calling it. Mijumaru, or the otter Pokemon, is known as Wotter, though it's not as popular a nickname as Smugleaf. Pokabu's nickname is not as universally accepted. People can't seem to agree on whether it's Piglit, Pignition, Boarbecue, etc...

New preview of the next anime season.
Shows that Ash will get Mijumaru/Wotter and possibly (hopefully!!!) Tsutaja/Smugleaf. The Tsutaja in this trailer is female because it's shown to have successfully used attract on Pikachu, who has already been confirmed to be male.
Also worth noting, Mijumaru's shell is removable. Which allows it to use its signature move Shell Blade. The fact that the shell is removable leads me to believe that its final evolution will undoubtedly utilize a full sword or swordlike object made of the same shell from before. Which means it would probably be standing upright and NOT look like a gay unicorn thingy. But that's just my speculation.
