Sorry, I meant like GK1, there'd be very limited reference to Phoenix, and 2 years after? That means that Phoenix already lost his badge.

I'd actually be glad if Phoenix wasn't included in it...well...that's not true.
What I would be glad is if they found the right balance. Either have him in and involved with bits of it or don't include him at all.
All the painfully obvious references such as "That guy in the blue" were uncalled for in GK1

That's great for us spriters, you saw the DeKiller sprite? It looks amazing!, I didn't think that they would deliver when they said enhanced graphics, but I guess they're right. Also, from the new sprites I ripped of the site, I noticed that the mini Edgey, Kay, and Gumshoe hasn't changed

so this might, though for now it's best to say MIGHT, be the most enjoyable AA game.
Big first case? Bigger than 4-1? If it won't suck then I absolutely love it!
About time we had an large opening case.
...Though...I fear we might have ton of those c-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-combo breaker things for a while.
What I don't want is to mke a direct contact with Phoenix.
Just keep mentioning of him and try to hide them in one case, but no more please.

I might be grasping at straws here, but in the "red carpet" picture the left 5th row seems to contain Lotta, not many people sport the ginger afro look. Could just be another cameo, I'm not sure that Lotta's popular enough to be reintroduced as a fully fledged witness, but given the location... well I'm sure we'll see soon enough.

Could be, she was in GK1, even for a little cameo. Although Edgeworth tried and succeeded at not making any contact with her.

But I would prefer an Apollo Justice 2... but that's just me. I think they're concentrating too much on Edgeworth, even though I adore the guy, I think Apollo should be given a sequel in the near future, just to have some continuation of his story, given that his first was mainly about Phoenix's disbarrment. :/
But other than that, GK2 certainly looks awesome. Can't wait to see DeKiller back again. :D

But let's hope Capcom will not make the double mistake of GK1 : No Phoenix in the game ( just "the guy in blue" ) and the missing european localisations ! It was shameful !!! The best thing in the info, is that the Ace Attorney/Gyakuten Saiban game will continue ! and why not in some years we'll have a Gyakuten Kenji VII or VIII ( like Final Fantasy ). XD
Just one thing, what will be the US/European name of the game ? " Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth: Raise of Something and Something" ?? Is not that a little long ?? :/

Hmm.. if this game is set after the disbarring case, then maybe that's the source of Edgeworth's 'conflict', perhaps wondering what's going on with Phoenix.
It's probably unlikely but... what if this means we'll have a chapter set in the AJ era? It would certainly be an unexpected twist, and I think we're due to see more older version characters.
Either way, game is looking awesome so far.

I'm betting he didn't really break his arm.
It's just a ruse to conceal a weapon, however the whole concept of DeKiller talking to Edgeworth seems flawed....only way I can see it happening is if DeKiller was already under arrest. This was the man who wouldn't testify in person after all.
