10. No, it had to do with what would get Phoenix to defend Matt. Phoenix was way more attached to Maya than Pearl; if Maya's life was at stake, he'd defend Matt no matter what. Also, considering Pearl was 8, there was probably much more of a chance of the police learning about her disappearing. (If a young woman is kidnapped, and a little girl is kidnapped...) Besides, Maya is just a teenage girl. It's not like it would be that hard to kidnap her anyway. (It also would've been a bit more difficult to get Pearl all alone; if he tried to do the phone thing, I'm sure Maya would've gone with her.)
9. If you're going to criticize Matt's brandy, at least also bring up Frank's foaming, April's spinning buttons, Jake's magic wind, Gant's lightning, etc. And it's just meant to show that he's evil, don't take it too seriously. (It's not like it's a plot point or anything.)
8. God forbid anything happen off-screen. Also, imagine T&T is the first game you played in the series; if they brought the card up, all of a sudden the ending to 2-4 is ruined for you. When you think about it in this way, it would've stupid to include the card. (Nice for the people who played JFA, but stupid.)
7. What you said. It's due to the way the games were developed, with 1-5 made for the DS and the rest for GBA.
6. It was the bad ending. Bringing up religion or whatever is just an idiotic overanalysis.
5. Nickel... Steel... Nickel... Steel... Nickel... Steel.... Yeah. You're completely right on this one. Can't see the connection there.
4. First off Gatewater was also planned. (Well, not planned specifically for Phoenix, but b/c it was across the street from Mia.) With Big Berry Circus, Phoenix just happened to see the circus before the murder... the murders are Kurain Village and Hazakura Temple were planned for Maya to be there, and she just dragged Phoenix along. Also, go look at any series of murder mysteries. They all have this problem of the protagonist just happening to be in the middle of a murder mystery over and over again. So, yes, it is a little silly in Phoenix Wright, but it's a trope of the genre.
3. Lol @ spelling fail. Anyway, we should definitely take out all the silliness of the court. And while we're at it, we'll make them follow real laws too. With something like court, you need to have fun or realism; it would be pretty hard to integrate both (for the general public, at least) Also most of the stuff he pointed out aren't even "Shiniaigians"
2. Eh, I don't think Godot, who already knew Mia (and possibly/probably about the Kurain Channeling Technique) noticing Mia is that much of an argument. But yeah, but probably aren't going to let an 8/9-year old be the defense aid. And if that strange woman wants to wear the exact same clothes as that little girl... well, whatever.
1. Lol this is basically the same as Matt's brandy.
