Being surprised there wasn't a topic for this game yet, I sprung into action and here it is.

I am really excited for Kirby's Epic Yarn, well, just look at it!

In other words, this grass feels like pants.

I wish I had some pantsgrass :(

I also wish I could prove that I could not fill up an entire euclidean plane with an infinite (but countable) number of Kirbies, but please ignore this.

That has to be the most epic (NO pun intended, I'm serious!) line in a Kirby game ever! (Not that there's a lot of competition, but still...)

I've been interested ever since it was announced. I've even managed to kind of get over the fact that he doesn't inhale enemies in this game. It looks too great for me to pass by it just for that!

Nintendo is the only company that can make a game about yarn seem interesting.

I'm looking forward to this very much.

...and plummer-ing. :)

So in this game, do we get to manipulate yarn or is it just the graphics that are different?

I think there are yarn-related mechanics. Like... you can pull the yarn out of something in the background to make it fall down and reveal stuff. There was something like that in the trailer, at least :yuusaku:

^ Yeah, Kirby there's stuff like zippers and buttons. One mechanic I found funny is how you can stitch the background to make a platform move closer to you.

This game is going to be awesome.

From what I've gathered, it's incredibly childish, feels like it was designed for 8-year olds, lacks the thrill of challenge (you can't die), and is told in a storybook fashion, with a fully-voiced narrator and everything.

And it's one of the console's best, let alone one of the best Kirby adventures yet.

Meh, it doesn't feel like it was designed for 8-year-olds to me. You're right about everything else, though.
Say, that reminds me of a puzzle! Have you ever heard this one, Luke?

I don't care how childish this game looks, I'm getting it anyways. The game just looks BEAUTIFUL. Been hooked on Kirby Super Star lately so I CAN NOT pass this one up!

I don't really think that, I just wanted to point out everything "negative" that could be said about this game, before showing that it means nothing compared to how good it is.

From what I gathered, it's still challenging, something happens if you don't gather beads.
You can't die in wario land 2 & 3, you can't die in Bioshock, yet they're awesome games.
Fuck year, still getting this, reminds me of Yoshi's story.

I know, I was just making a statement to others... :sadshoe:

When's the game supposed to come out? (or is it one of those undated 3DS ones?)

Well it's been out in Japan since Thursday and it just came out in the States yesterday. Europe gets it November 12th.

And it's on the Wii.
