The Harvest Moon series is a fun and lighthearted little row of games that are about (most of them) a 20 year old or so farmer who must raise crops, tend to cattle, keep a dog, get the town to like them, and get married to someone in town to "win" the game.
That's all good and such for most of the games, but there is a disturbing pattern amongst recent titles..The adults look like Kids!! TODDLERS even!! It's just wrong..I can't believe there isn't much fuss about it. It was cute...until Magical Melody where the bodies of everyone were structured exactly the same as a 2-4 year old. There's even a transsexual marriageable character! I don't know if anyone else sees this, but it looks like a pedophile has taken over the art department!!
I'm not saying the game is bad, MM has some of the greatest game mechanics of the Harvest series, but I think the cuteness has gone just a little far here...

anyway I dont have problems with the characters being chibi
I think that's what make the series special but what I don't like is how they make the series so childish in the things
other than the graphics like in harvest moon DS cute ( aka harvest moon spirit station for girl ) the best friend feature
