As project head and voice director for the PWMP, I'm impressed! Very nice take on Franziska von Karma. I'd like to think this is her courtroom voice, where she tries to sound more mature than her voice naturally sounds. I'd like to hear how you do her vulnerable voice too! You keep in character and your speech pattern is perfect for Franzy. I love the smugness that permeates your speech. I can practically imagine the smarmy look on her face.

If I had one little critique, it's that her accent seems a little in and out. Consistency with accents can be tricky, though in this case I think it'd be best just to leave it out. A perfectionist like Franzy probably would've hired a diction coach anyway, to make sure her English was PERFECT. Maybe she has a British accent instead? Of course, that is up to interpretation, so there isn't really a right or wrong. Just a suggestion!

No problem! I love listening to interpretations of AA characters, especially when they're as good as this one. Actually, I think I had a scene we wrote out for Franziska (for fun) a while back. I could send it to you if you'd be interested in trying it. It's perfect for a Franziska test since it show cases her different sides and would give an opportunity to try out how her voice changes when she's smug and secure or vulnerable and emotional.

I have to fangirl for a second here because I love the way you expressed the meaning and feeling behind all of the lines you chose, and you did it in a way I can totally see Franziska having done it! As pleadingeyes mentioned, you got her smug attitude down perfectly, and I really liked the slight accent you gave her. You just did a great job all around!

You should totally do more of these if you ever feel like it! I'd love to hear your Maya if you ever end up trying her, and if you've played AAI, I actually think your voice would fit Calisto Yew impeccably. (You can pull off mature and condescending so well, haha! Plus, I'm sure you'd sound a lot lovelier than the weird "OBJECTION" manvoice they gave her in the game lol.)

Anyways, I'll stop blabbing for now, but seriously -- awesome job! c:

...I'm probably way too late to contribute anything meaningful to this thread, but I'm a sucker for anything and everything involving Franziska.

And that was some nice voice acting.

What I Loved:
* Your accentuation of the word "fool" whenever it happened to appear in Franny's dialogue.
* The "Tsk, tsk, tsk" soundbite. That is 100% Franziska von Karma right there. Loved it.
* The vocal range in general is just about exactly how I'd expect Franziska to sound in a serious courtroom debate. (...You'd have to stretch your voice a bit higher to cover more personal moments and shouts, in my opinion. If only to match with Franny's "Objection.")

What I Didn't Like:
* The accent, really. My favorite moments were generally those when the accent was least prevalent. An American-accented (or a British-accented, depending on where you're from) Franny would work best.

One More Tip:
* Unless you could go considerably higher than these soundbites indicated, I'd recommend straying away from voicing the Feys. Aside from Franny, I'd love to hear you try, say, Lana Skye, Thalassa Gramarye, or maybe even Adrian. I feel your voice has more of a professional, assertive quality that might make it more difficult to pull off younger or more "childish" characters unless you really have fantastic range.

You have a near perrrrrr~fect Franziska voice, but I agree that she shouldn't have a German accent. Being Austrian myself (and we Austrians are known for having even WORSE accents than the Germans. See: Schwarzenegger), I know that a native German Speaker who has been learning English from young age on (like Franzy, who had regular America stays, as we saw in AAI) almost never has a noticeable accent.

Even I, who's English tends to break down in normal conversation, am often told by native English speakers that I have barely any noticeable Austrian-German accent in my speech patern and sound almost like the real thing.

It works fantastic for Abridged series, of course, since those are supposed to be exeggarated, but if you want to do a serious take on Franziska for a normal fandub or the likes, I suggest you to leave the accent out or tone it down.
