Ok but I still think it looks a bit odd. It needs to be wider coz the eyes should be further apart (I think the rule is the gap between the eyes should be the same width as one eye).
Anyway, it's just a suggestion. I'm not deliberately trying to be critical

I would like to crit this one, because it's the one that has a lot of errors. D:
First thing I notice is the shading. It's really inconsistent all over. You have the light source coming from the side, the top, and the corners, which makes it look off. Saying that it did come from the top, your sprite will kind of be shaded like this:
At least, that's how I would shade it...
Also, you might want to work on defining the body better. I can't tell if it has arms or not, and the green straps (?) has me wondering what they are. Are they a vest or a backpack? Define it in that way, that the person seeing it can see what it is.
Also, I think there might be a little too much anti-alias going but I'm not absolutely sure though.
However, it's a pretty good sprite for a first scratch.
