Yeah I heard about the 8 stages too. A Courtroom stage would be cool if it had a case going on in the background, we would see Edgeworth, the Judge, Phoenix (If he's not being played by someone), and a defendant of some sort.

That makes a strange level of sense. I mean, aside from Phoenix, the only playable Defense Attorneys are Mia and Apollo. And with Mia being dead for most of the series puts a cap on the prosecutors.

I'm getting good starting out with Ammy and finishing with Wolverine, but I don't know whether Felicia really fits in that middle slot... hopefully Nick will do the trick

also, I can imagine Nick's theme being a faster-paced remix of Objection! 2001 (sort of like Amaterasu's theme being a fast-paced mix of The Sun Rises), and if there were an Ace Attorney stage, I'd imagine it'd be the AA4 courtroom with a case going on in the background, where the stage theme would be an arrangement of Pursuit - Overtaken

Assists mean that the character themselves come out and use a move from their moveset to help you out. IE: Calling out Iron Man when he has his Uni-Beam assist will cause him to shoot Uni-Beam at your opponent. I don't think Phoenix's move set will consist of him calling his friends to help him out since it takes extra resources to create 3d models of everyone, but who knows, they could surprise us.

Niitsuma stated that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is the result of their DLC plans being delayed by the Japan quake. At present, they have made no reference to any future DLC for UMvC3, only the old DLC of Jill and Shuma-Gorath! Contrast this to the original MvC3, where the possibility of DLC was floated fairly early on.
