Migoto winced in pain as Chase wrapped up her injury. "Ow ow ow!" The blood began to soak into the gauze quickly and her hand still hurt. "Ch-Chase... It still hurts..." she said weakly.

As tough as she made herself out to be, Migoto was like a little kid when she was in pain. Then, something happened while Chase was fixing up her hand that made cry out in serious pain. Afterward, she was shaking and really pathetic-looking.

Chase nodded. "I'll stay right here with you, Migoto. Don't worry, I'm here." Looking around, he found nothing that could dull pain, not even alchohol. "Damn. I wish I could help you more," he lamented.

Chase wrapped his arms around her and thought of how this would affect the plan to defeat the Thugs. He wondered if she would be able to operate with this kind of reaction to injury. Suddenly, he didn't want her to take part. It would be very dangerous. They still had yet to plan it, but Kieran and he could fight the Thugs well by themselves.

He nodded at Kieran's order and took a bowl of water, then lit a fire, placing the pot above it. He returned to Migoto and held her tightly. "It's gonna be alright, just think happy thoughts. Like bunnies! And, uh... Pie. Pie is delicious," he trailed off, thinking about pie.

Migoto was still shaking, but she seemed to calm down a good bit when Chase held her. "I-I don't want my own tree house..." she suddenly whimpered. She thought as long as she had him here, she would tell him.

"You wanna live with me?" Chase asked. She might have been delirious from the pain, so he wanted to make sure. "I should probably find another bed to steal, then. Maybe case a Mattress Giant... Oh well. I think it would be a great idea. Just... Don't tell your bother, please."

Migoto lifted up her head and nodded. "It's still hurts, though..." At that moment, her lips were very close to his, but she wasn't aware of it at all. Her mind was occupied with how much her hand still hurt.

Chase looked into her eyes for a moment and smiled, but heard Kieran coming with the herbs. He turned away from her, embarassed as Renee was there watching, and held Migoto's other, non-injured hand. "Kieran's back! I hope he got those herbs right," he voiced.

Kieran was a few yards away. Once he reached Chase's tree, he climbed it as fast as he could.

Chase pointed at the table in the corner and brought it over. "Okay, so run me through what you're doing here. Where did you find these herbs, anyway? And how and when the hell did you learn how to do this?!" he asked, then calmed himself down.

"I use to watch alot of survival shows when I was a kid. Anyway, each of these herbs contain special pain killing properties. I'm pretty much going to make a teabag with these herbs. However, when dipped in the water, the herbs will release their pain killing properties into the water. Once we wait for about a minute, we just get Migoto to drink it," Kieran said as he started to mash the herbs.

Migoto sighed and thought to herself. She felt a little disheartened to know that Chase didn't want people to know that they liked each other, but she understood it completely. She just hoped that it didn't come out in a bad way and hurt his reputation...

Migoto stood there, still thinking about her and Chase. She had so many questions! Like if Chase was ever going to tell his gang, or if they were "boyfriend" and "girlfriend", and so much more. She made sure to collect all these thoughts so she could tell them to Chase later.
