I like things in a series to be consistant, box art is no different. I like how JFA used the Japanese layout for the box art, and the GS4 cover is pretty cool too. I tweeked my T&T template and based off the GS1 DS release, made up a cover for AA1 that matches the rest.
I think I might use it for album art on my PW1 mp3s...

In other words. I think it should read: "Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Rise From The Ashes"
The Japanese cover of the remake GS1 had an extra subtitle that was not in the GBA release. When Japan re-released it with the 5th case, they added a subtitle to their original Japanese title. So it would only be fair that the US cover should read "Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Rise From The Ashes" to fit the rest of the titles.

Well actually, it is a refernce to the 5th new case, which has the very same title, specifically made for the DS.
I don't see any other name they would use for a subtitle, like Justice for All, & Trials and Tribulations.

That is the ONLY reason why I didn't buy an import of the second game. Keepin' the first and the second game both pure English covers and copies so they match. (OCD to the max, yo.) And then they had to go and change the logo. arrgghh.

NNN...no one knows PW in Hawaii...well...the people who live in my world dont...save two...or three.
It's crazy in Japan though. All the smart pple play it at school. I know a teacher who plays it in Japan. Hectic I tell you,

The front cover is a scale up of my AA1 cover (Needs to be redone in 300 dpi). The cover and spine DS logo/shapes are Illustrator vector work as is the bottom of the back cover (black bg, Nintendo seal and text, Important band and text and white warning box. The game specific text and images are from my scan of my copy of PW:AA's back cover. The Capcom logo and ESRB logo are vector art.
So basically, I need to do a full vector version of the main logo and redo the cover art lines. I also need to redo the logo in a horizontal strech so it fits better (like on AA2).
Here's the link to the full 300 dpi version to get a better look (or print if you REALLY want to). Comment and feed back on other things I could do to make it look better are apprecited.
