I'm still not too sure on Lupinko, some of the stuff he describes such as Phoenix's level 3 and how much detail he put into characters like Iron Fist kind of make this leak credible, but he also mentions that the bonus owners of MvC3 get is just the first DLC costume pack that they gave us in March which doesn't coincide with what Nitsuma had said we'd get. Nitsuma said we would be getting an extra mode.
Lupinko is an odd source to follow but he sure did surprise everyone with leak of UMVC's roster that's for sure.

So in a few words maybe he is both a scaredy-cat wimp but can kick your ass if he feels like it. Much like Roll in the first Marvel vs. Capcom, but much cooler, Luigi in Brawl, or Gon in Tekken 3. SPECIALLY like Gon in Tekken 3, he was god tier. So maybe a bit weaker than Gon.

Alternates that change the geometry of the character are DLC unfortunately, recolors are fine and all but I'd much rather use Alts that actually change the physical makeup of the character.

Vergil looks very meter intensive since it takes him 1 meter to summon swords and another to fire them. Then he's got Devil Trigger which is 1 meter in order to execute his lvl 3. His teleports are tracking and they look pretty fast and hard to punish.
Iron Fist is a pretty intricate character, he uses chi which boosts 3 different aspects. I read on the GAF forums that pink is attack, green is meter building and I think blue may be defense.
My team will hopefully be Phoenix Wright, Strange and Dormammu.

Well I'd be perfectly happy NOT to fire the swords the sword shield makes a beautiful grating wall of pain in game. Though I never quite got the benefits of Devil Trigger in Dante requiring it for his level 3 hyper combo only makes the move more epic.

Well I'd be perfectly happy NOT to fire the swords the sword shield makes a beautiful grating wall of pain in game. Though I never quite got the benefits of Devil Trigger in Dante requiring it for his level 3 hyper combo only makes the move more epic.
Yeah I like the sword shield for Vergil, it's kinda like MVC2 Strider's Ourobouros. Devil Trigger granted more moves, an increase in speed and a slight increase in damage output. Also, Vergil's voice actor sounds really... lame. I hear it's the same voice actor from DMC but he just sounds like a 13 year old trying to be tough.

Never really bothered me when I played DMC3 and didn't seem that bad in the reveal trailer.
Besides how much can one bad voice actor detract from an experience like this? Where dialogue is limited to fights and even then mostly just grunts and small phrases.
