Ms. I'm-Not-A-Witch is on Trial... for MURDER! Can you solve the caper? Was it Professor Don Paulo with the Thinker? Or perhaps Dylan Fitcher with the Blue Badger in a fit of Green envy? Grab those 'Clues' gumshoes and bring an end to this case before the Storyteller writes her last verse.

Okay, it's waaaay over due... this was supposed to be a TGS banner, but I kinda fell behind. Croik got hers up however on time

Anyways, this time around it's a board game "Clue" banner. (Or Cluedo to you silly hacks overseas =P) and featuring a villain from each of the major franchises CR focuses around. The banner is a little different this time around, in that there are two random items, and, it's my first time tinkering with Javascript. (And the first time I've used sprites in the banner).

Anyways... there's a reason why the banners use characters from all the major franchises... and the reason will hopefully be revealed at a later date.

Change is good! I don't think I ever did play Clue, but I totally dig the banner.

Here is the sprite used in the banner. It's also the secret why this banner loads a lot faster then most previous ones.

Are you telling me the Elite Four/Champion is comprised of Kyle, Sissel, Edgeworth, Layton, and Phoenix?

Surely Atmey would have been better fitting than Daryan (seeing as he's already got the monacle)?

Regardless, good work on the new banner!

Both those statements don't sound right...

And, yay! I love Clue! It's my favorite board game of all time! When I saw that banner up, I seriously wanted to make it... O_O

Just for you, I'll sneak something 999 related into the next banner. I'm not sure how at this point, but it'll get in.

I'm in hysterics right now Zinle, as your avatar is so dead panned, but the animation is so.... festive. It's quite the contrast.

Hey, maybe it's not too late to put in 999... although it shows him as Payne in the site, the forum banner doesn't have Mr. Body... (The black character...)

Nah, there's a reason for the franchises we chose, although it was stupid of me to miss Mr. Boddy. And that reason should be revealed... this week?

Great job on the new banner! Quite a clever concept basing it on Clue, and I love how it incorporates all the main series supported by Court Records. It's great that it loads so quickly, as well. I must say, I am anxious to see what this "reason" is that Wooster keeps alluding to.

Ooooh, nice banner (although I haven't played Ghost Trick or Last Window yet nuuuuuuuuuuuuuu)

However, I still like having stuff on the left side of the screen, to back to Kenji I go!

I thought this might mean new sub-forums, but there are already Hotel Dusk, Ghost Trick, and (Phoenix Wright vs) Professor Layton sub-forums, so hmmmm

Hahaha I love Cluedo (As we call it in merry old england), and this banner is great!

I did think it strange that Alba wasn't Colonel mustard, but it doesn't matter too much, I still adore it.

Actually, does 'Cluedo' mean anything? I'm just trying to figure out why Europe would give the game such an odd name.

What does the name "Cluedo" mean?

"Cluedo" is a pun on the traditional game "Ludo" (which is also Latin for "I play"); mixed with the word Clue for the murder mystery element. So it's saying Murder Mystery Boardgame in one word. I believe Ludo is not well known in the USA, thus as the pun would not be understood, Parker Brothers probably decided to just call it Clue for marketing reasons.

And I completely forgot that in the US version they changed Rev. Green to Mr. Green.

I've never played Cluedo. I'll have to buy a set at some point.

They changed Reverend Green to Mr.Green in America because apparently there was some issues that people wouldn't buy the game if a man of god could possibly murder someone...or something like that.

and wow, looby I didn't know that, that actually makes a lot of sense.
