Not too effective...and anyone who does use him well will be an irritating keep-away fest...granted...he's an archer so he's kinda justified to have an entirely ranged moveset.
I need to work on Taskmaster's reflection shield skill.

His level 1 omni-directional hyper is god-like though, instant start up, punishes almost everything. Such a good hyper. He's not just a keep away character, he's a status changer which alters the way the opponent thinks. "Am I going to get electrocuted which leads to bigger hitstun or will he throw out a poison arrow which will kill me over time? Oh I can't forget that his damned heavy arrow will leave me completely defenseless to a follow up combo!" He's a pretty deep keep away character and I'm looking forward to playing as him. Dunno why some people hated him when he was announced, he's as much an Avenger as Cap and Iron Man.
Also, lookin forward to mixing up with Strider all day.

Yeah Strider's 'screen wide' sword slice looks wow and I liked the look of his wall cling manouver. Great for getting close to foes along with the nice tracking teleport.

Who's to say Phoenix won't be revealed at the 10th Anniversary event? The Movie, Layton vs Phoenix, and MvC. That'd be three bullet points. Three or four bullet points are the rule of thumb for a press conference.

I didn't follow MVC3 as much as I am UMVC3 back in the day for mainly cause of the lack of hype I had for the game (even though I play it for hours now). Revealing two more later that weekend sounds like an interesting prospect so I'm even more hyped!

It's photoshopped, Black Panther uses the same model as Deadpool, Gambit is a photoshopped Dante, Phoenix and Nova's character portraits do not match up to what it looks like now. Sorry Wooster, I did read the whole thing why it's not fake, but it is fake.

Here, I recorded a vid of how well he's doing. Watch as he helps defeat an entire team. Maya does a lot of work when Phoenix is in investigation mode. Still in noob form, so once people figure out how to do combos with him, he'll be able to stand on his own.
