I freaked out for a whole hour when I saw the reveal trailer last night. My parent's were all "WTF is wrong with her?" while I hopped around pointing an objection finger and listened to his TWO themes non-stop. Let's just say I was uber excited. As an AA fan should be in this situation.
But I'm kind of dissapointed that there isn't a alt. costume for Phoenix that involves Apollo and for maya a Trucy version. Oh well. There's still downloadables right?

Which is why I'll put my chips on hobo Phoenix being DLC. Changing Phoenix's physical make-up to that of Apollo's would be an entirely new character and would not make sense. Granted Dante's alternate costume is Sparda, but the resemblance is very similar.

So long as the height is similar I don't think it matters.
Same height same model just changing the physical appearance. Not especially taxing for those masters over at Capcom.

I dunno, having the announcer saying Phoenix Wright at the character selection screen and then team members calling him by his name just doesn't sit right when it's Apollo in his place. As for Maya, ehhh they might put in enough effort to add in the line "Trucy", but ehh.
I'm replaying AJ right now, I used to like the game a few years ago but then my opinion changed and it's really not my cup of tea. 3 years of being a lawyer? That's it? Phoenix deserves better.

The second match shows how Nick leaves much to be desired without the right evidence and someone in his face but 1 and 3 show how powerful he really can be. An omni-directional, zero frame, full screen level 3 is absolutely devastating. Firebrand is no demon prosecutor.

After all, the story was pretty much happy-endish.

I just used Phoenix's Level 3 Hyper Combo after the Heroes and Heralds update...
Phoenix now says "TAKE THAT!" not "TAKE THIS!"!
