Agreed. This game is 50 times better than the DS one. And that's saying something because the DS Version was awesome. :gant:

Rhythm Heaven Fever is, in fact, really, really good. Shrimp Shuffle, Cheer Readers, Flockstep, Karate Man, Air Rally, Remix 4 and Remix 9 are some of my favorites.

I don't think I'll be able to get all perfects BUT I'M GONNA TRY! Only 20-ish to go!

So I managed to make some process on the Perfects in this game. I need two more.

Love Rap 2 and Remix 10 can go to Rhythm Hell. :zenitora:

Reading Wikipedia, apparently the game will be called "Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise" in Europe and be released in Q2 2012. No source, so take it with a grain of salt.

In other news, this game is still f**king amazing. The DS game sucks compared, and that's coming from a guy who loved that game. The localization is much better in Fever, the only problem is the removal of the manzai birds endless game. Every Wii needs this game.

Yeah, I knew the name from a while back. What annoys me is the lack of an actual release date. I mean, c'mon.

And they did replace the manzai birds with Mr. Upbeat from Rhythm Tengoku, to be fair. They at least went out of their way to make sure we didn't end up losing out, is my point. Still kinda meh, though. I never liked Mr. Upbeat anyway. I was hoping they'd replace it with the Dr. Bacteria endless game, actually.

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of Mr. Upbeat either. I don't think Dr. Bacteria would work because it uses the D-Pad. (Before someone says it, yes, Rockers 2 used the L/R button, but that was that one time.) I was hoping the Tunnel endless game was in it. That is the endless game to doze out to.

True, but they could always just downgrade it to just being one button press when a bacterium tries to pass. I just love Dr. Bacteria way more than Mr. Upbeat, I guess. The tunnel endless game was pretty good, though.

I guess that would work, wouldn't be as fun, though. It would be an upgrade from most of the endless games. Lady Cupid gets difficult after a minute, and Wake-Up Caller is tedious. Munchy Monk is awesome, though.

Munchy Monk 2 is my favorite game in the RH DS. Not only is the song catchy, but there's pink elephants playing the trumpet in the background. Now THAT'S awesome! :gant:

Worst part of Rhythm Heaven DS: Going for a Perfect wih headphones on and having a minor heart attack after failing. Thank God Fever's noise is quieter.

I've actually been playing Rhythm Tengoku again.

the top/bottom five stages in Rhythm Tengoku for me are -

Top -

5 - Remix 8 - I love this one, mainly because it's just a really happy sounding end to the game, and there's that nice twist to Karate Man where it all goes dark.

4 - Space Dance - No words for this one. Just...a really great song and concept. Dunno why it had a second version, though. :yuusaku:

3 - Night Walk - Playing the remake in Rhythm Heaven Fever is gonna be a blast. The little guy is cute darn cute and it's such a great stage all around.

2. Remix 3 - Cutest song eva. That's all I can say. Just...HHHNNNGGGHH. :toaster:

1. Remix 1 - I just really like this one the best. For me, it has the best selection of stages (as in no duff ones) and is a really well done remix.

Bottom -

5 - (I don't even know the name of this one I've played it so infrequently). The one with the penguin and monkey. The one that last for about fourty seconds :maggy:

4 - Rappers 2 - We didn't need a second one, really.

3 - Fireworks - Kind of boring, to be honest. Nothing special about it.

2 - Quiz - Why does this stage even exist? I mean, it just seems...out of place. :gregory:

1 - Polyrhythm 2 - Holds the dubious award for being the only stage that I've never perfected. I hate this one. Hate. Hate. Hate.

Did Rhythm Paradise sell well in Europe and Australia? It might not have, and that's probably the cause of delay. Either that, or they believe the music game is a dead genre (Bulls**t) or they're re-dubbing the audio (which isn't needed, the Americian localization is amazing).

EDIT: I've found the cause for Europe: Translation. It probably needs to be a Multi-5 game (is it the same for Australia?)

Also, it's European logo is BAD:

I figured it would be because of that. Hurrah for pointless waiting!

Also, that logo is just...urgh. You can tell people wouldn't buy this game to begin with thanks to Nintendo marketing it as a casual party game (over 50 games!). Now they've got an ugly-ass logo to scare them off :maggy:

I'm not exactly sure, but I think it did fairly good.
I really hope they don't release here is Beat the Beat, that is such a lame title lol

Everyone, I'm pleased to announce that the European version "Beat the Beat : Rhythm Paradise" has been confirmed for a July 9th release at today's Nintendo Direct. What makes this game different from the US version is that it will feature both the English and Japanese soundtracks and voices which you can switch at any time. Awesome!

Lucky Europeans. I'm kinda (read: really) jealous of you guys getting English AND Japanese soundtracks. It kinda makes up for the stupid name and logo and the wait. I don't really see why they did that, though. The English localization is amazing. People complained about the localization of the DS one, they listened. I'll probably just hack my Wii near the end of it's time and get both soundtracks.

The trailer I posted eariler said "Exclusive to Europe!" The DS game was called Rhythm Heaven, so, sadly, you'll probably end up with the boring old 1-language version.

Actually, there's no reason for Australia not to get the dual-audio version.
It's still considered a PAL territory, and there's no reason for NoE to just go ahead and make two versions of the same game just for the sake of it. Whether or not the name changes (and it wouldn't be considered a different version), I'm quite confident Australia will get the dual-audio version.

Besides, what they meant by 'Exclusive to Europe' was : 'no other territory in the world will get both japanese and english soundtracks, because unlike those iditiots at NoA, we know there's quite a lot of players who would like to have the japanese audio included besides the English one, and it won't cost us a cent more to include both'. :grossburg:

So then America gets the worst version of the game :larry:
Now I'm really thinking about hacking my Wii to get the Japenese audio-swap mode (Belive me, there WILL be a mod that does that once the European version comes out).

By the way, the game's released on the 6th of July (not the 9th, which is a Monday, and Nintendo never releases their game any other day than a Friday). I'm quite excited myself, as it'll be just before my birthday... and real close to one of my friend's too ;)

Hacking the Wii is very easy. I haven't done it (waiting until the WiiU to transfer saves), but I know you can go to Letterbomb and get a one-click hack.

As strange as it may sounds, Europe and Australia are part of the same territory, for Nintendo of Europe. So a European game would work on an Australian Wii without the need of modding it.

Actually, besides Australia, Russia, Turkey and... South Africa are all depending on Nintendo of Europe. Yup, South-Africa is in Europe, guys! :maya:
