@Neni: Ah, I see. I think I'll agree with you on that one; GK1 had a nice overarching plot (mostly between the first and last cases; the connections in cases 2 and 3 were basically tacked on), and GK2 had an insane overarching plot, but the connection didn't feel as strong to Edgeworth as the plot did in Nick in GS1 and 3 and to Polly in GS4.
And about writing... in general I'm pretty uncritical about writing, and then when it's in Japanese and it's a struggle just to understand it... It gets even harder for me to do anything critical in terms of the writing.
(And I also really liked GK2-3, and the flashbacks in that case were the only segments where I didn't hate Shigaraki xP)

Well hold now is there any confirmation anyone died in the explosion? I was thinking it was just a case of wrongly accused, Payne takes the case to cover up the damage, Payne gets found out.
Payne destroyed the courtroom after years of hatred for the place where he consistantly got beaten.
I don't think enough people value Payne as for them to refuse to make him a criminal, especially in a case where no one actually dies.

I was arguing that we won't see more then one Payne for that case, never mind Payne Prime and a third one. Confusion over the identity of which Payne dun what doesn't seem first-casey to me.

Am I the only one who thinks that new girl look like Lynne of Ghost Trick? Serioulsy the first time I saw her I was like LYNNE!!!!!!! (surely because of the colors) Though the chances of it being her are, like, impossible. Even though Takumi said that the two games happened in the same world...

Yeah the clothing styles looked like something out of Miami Vice.
This is interesting though. The fact that he mentioned it at all means there must have been some reason why he felt it should be in that universe. But I can't think of any connections, and I think a cross-over would feel awkward and wouldn't work. Especially because the world of Ace Attorney is different and slightly more realistic (slightly, although its just as ridiculous in different ways)
Still, if it technically is in the same universe, I'll play it before GS1in my marathon when GS5 is announced locally, if only to replay an amazing game.

Which one, do you mean the Jurist system from AJ?
We're not sure yet which judicial system they are using, mainly due to the fact that both systems look the same in game screenshots.
I would bet the Jurist system is used/brought up though, especially because there are more people in the courtroom and the Jurist system actually doesn't change much about the way the verdict is decided. In AJ its stated that the Jury will "assist the judge in finding a verdict" rather than the common jury system where the memebers of the jury find the verdict.
