I dunno...When I think of Godot and Iris I think of Cloud and Aerith, because Mia would be a better Tifa even though Tifa didn't die. And Phoenix is obviously Zack.

Indeed, Iris was pretending to be Dahlia, but certainly not pretending to have Dahlia's personality. Notice at the end of T&T 3-5 that when Iris admitted this to Phoenix, he stated "You are exactly the person I thought you were". Personally, I believe that Phoenix knows Iris's personality better than he knows Dahlia's, as he had only met her twice prior to 3-5, but was hanging out with Iris throughout his entire relationship with "Dahlia".
Perhaps it was a little much for me to say "perfect" for each other, but when I think about how they were dating for 6 months, the only reason they "broke up" was because Dahlia was ready to kill for her poison vial. Otherwise, I imagine they would have stayed together.
