Waaaiit.. you thought Wind Waker was easier than.. Twilight Princess? o.o Also, the handheld games don't really differ from the NES/SNES games. It's the same top-down view.
My favourites, in order;
- The Wind Waker
- Minish Cap
- Majora's Mask
- Ocarina of Time
- A Link to the Past
- Four Swords Adventures
- Twilight Princess
- The Legend of Zelda
- Four Swords
- Link's Adventure
I haven't played the rest. Wind Waker on top because of the human characters, especially the character of Link bloomed here. It was a light-hearted adventure, but insanely big with 49 islands, of which quite a few have multiple things to do. While sadly two dungeosn were cur out (if I remember correctly) because of time, it's an enthralling adventure, and I really enjoyed it :)
Minish Cap second, mostly because of the cap. Shrink-Link gives a lot of funny ideas, and although the game was far too short, I really, really enjoyed it which made up for it.
Majora's Mask third, because of the better storyline and characters than Ocarina of Time - Ocarina of Time, while groundbreaking for its time, isn't as interesting to play as Majora's Mask. Although almost everything from MM has been based on OoT, it's still a better game in my opinion.
Ocarina of Time, lovely game, good start out for some characters (such as the Gerudos, Goron and Zora) to continue in later games.
The Link to the Past was probably the hardest Zelda I've played, but it had a nice story and a rgeat arsenal of weapons. Plus, you cannot deny the power of Bunny Link.
Four Swords Adventures was just plain fun. Crazy multiplayer with crazy bombs is crazy.
Twilight Princess. Although it has nice graphics and Midna's a great idea, it hasn't got very much memorable characters, is the easiest Zelda I've played, and was almost as short as the Minish Cap. Wolf Link also didn't add much significant to the game. The story was good, though.
The Legend of Zelda - albeit annoying, a funny adventure that you can do at your own pace. The Old Man is definitely memorable, too :p
Four Swords - "STOP WALKING OUT OF THE SCREEN" >_>
Link Adventure - good game for the fact that they never, ever again did a Zelda in a Mario style. Silly people.
The rest I haven't played.
