By the way, out of curiosity, is it true that when you buy something digital, you don't actually own it and that the purchase is more of a lease? I'm still planning to purchase the game and the DLC but I'm feeling a bit uneasy about the whole digital thing and I want to have some facts set straight.

That's more of an opinion than an outright fact; some people think if you don't physically have something you purchased, you don't own it. Truth is, you own it for as long as you own the system it's on and/or can re-download it from wherever you originally got it (in this case the eShop). Some people feel ripped off because Nintendo's current situation has caused an issue where one can lose their purchases if something happens to their Wii U/3DS and it needs to be replaced, and they're making workarounds for that anyway, but otherwise it's definitely yours.

Well, you never own the game in the first place. It doesn't matter whether you buy it on a disc/cartridge or as a download.
Technically the only difference is that when you buy a "physical" version of the game you get the game data on a disc and when you buy a "digital" version of the game you have to download the game data. Practically you currently can't resell your digital games, though it's perfectly legal (at least in Germany, can't speak for the whole world) and should be allowed, but apparently no one cares enough.
Then you have the doomsayers who will tell you, that basically everyday Sony, Microsoft, Valve, Nintendo and whoever else can collapse and you can't play your digital games anymore. That's not true!
In fact, even if they were to just disappear you could still play your games (they don't require an active internet connection to be played) and considering that you can have back ups of your games, you don't need to worry about redownloading your games.
Then there is a second concern that only affects Nintendo. Currently they don't have a real account system and the games are tied to your console. So does it mean your games are lost, when your 3DS gets broken/stolen? Not exactly. Nintendo still do know what games you have bought (you need a club Nintendo account connected to your console where you buy your games via the eShop) and you also get a receipt everytime you buy a game. It's a hassle but you can get your games back should you lose your 3DS or it gets broken (I shall remind you that you can also lose or break your game discs/cartridges and most of the time you aren't allowed to have backups of them).
I agree it's not the best system, but there are signs that we could see a real account system for Nintendo consoles this year.

Also I don't think AA is really suited to DLC. I haven't played the DD DLC and I don't know what other DLC the team would be capable of producing but I do know that if it's just a silly trivial inconsequential story then it's a waste of time and if it's properly good then it should just be included in the game or at least saved for the next one.

They're essentially the modern version of 'expansion packs', and those were all fine and dandy sold seperately way back when - I swear people are only wary of Digital DLC now because it's the big bad boogeyman of gaming that nobody understands properly.

We all know that's not a proper analogy. I don't get a 3DS each time (or any time) I buy a game do I? Printing the cartridge things did cost money, even more for each one, so the publisher was performing a service. So okay how much does it cost Nintendo to give you a digital game? (And yes I mean Nintendo not Capcom). You know the cartridge things can be used elsewhere. This way you just have to buy repeat copies of the game you're 'renting' on each new device, whether it's a new 3DS or some future thing, while it costs nothing for Nintendo to deploy infinite copies. All the concepts of 'ownership' and 'stealing' were invented when there really were finite copies of things and taking one took away the other. Now obviously the game creators should be remunerated for their hard work, digital or not, so piracy is wrong. But as for Nintendo making all this unreasonable control and profit out of it, not so much. It's not like they GAVE us the 3DS, is it? We paid for that too! The industry has shifted so that the business models are about distributing content, (and who's allowed to and how) not actually making it.

You download it you own the license and the right to own the game.
Here's an example of Nintendo's digital downloading concerns from myself:
Little while ago near the end of last year the Monster Hunter 3U Edition 3DS XL came out. I was going to trade in my own one for it as it came with Monster Hunter 3U on the system and it was an upgrade from 3DS to XL.
I did so and in the store I went through the System Transfer process after checking the 3DS XL had Monster Hunter on it. During the system transfer the 3DS XL was formatted blanking it for the new content and monster hunter was deleted.
In my fury I made a very restrained phone call to nintendo customer services and explained my situation. I was told that since I'd bought the console I owned the license to the game. As such I could go onto the Eshop and simply redownload the game with no charge. Access the e-shop, go to "Titles you've downloaded" and select "Redownload".
Plain an simple. You own a copy, you can always download a replacement.

Also, digital downloads are not free for Nintendo. Servers and bandwidth costs money too. But it is certainly a lot cheaper than carts.

Uh... That was why I added the "/account" part. Yeah, you don't have to get a new account or system every time, but your purchase is still tied to it.

There is a topic in the Dual Destinies forum about it. But without any spoilers I can tell you that it is warranted only due to the violent crime scenes. (basically more blood.)
There is no sexual content and I can't imagine them pumping up the language to be more vulgar.
Comparisons have also been drawn to the DL-6 case and SL-9 cases with the amount of blood/gore. In retrospect, those games could have been bumped up to M.
I would say that the M rating should not deter anyone from buying this game... but I haven't played it so I can't say for sure.

My guess is the bombing plot had a big factor in the game's rating due to the Boston Bombings. I could see that being an issue with players who were involved/had relatives involved in the incident.
I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

It would mean kids/teens who are younger (meaning emotionally less mature) might not see something that they couldn't handle. This kind of stuff can mean a film getting an R rating instead of a PG-13, so I would imagine it also affects game ratings.
