Layton 7 announced for iOS, Android, and 3DS

At their 2013 Vision press conference, Level 5 announced a new spin-off to the Professor Layton series simply with the title of Layton 7. Details are scant, but the game is described as an isometric role-playing game starring the villagers of a small town. It will be released for iOS, Android, and 3DS. No Western release has been announced, but if the other Layton games are any indication you can expect to see this one eventually.

They did state the Layton series would change drastically after the 2nd trilogy, but this is still rather unexpected. But I'm sure they'll find a good way to implement the puzzles into an RPG and I'd definitely buy it if possible.

I have to say, this looks interesting! (The Zombie was unexpected!)
Although for an RPG, the proportions look out of whack, it looks a little crammed in.
(The looks remind me of Triple Town a little)

As an RPG fan I find this interesting.
...not to mention I just love that name...Layton 7...
...It's just so stupid but also so amazing at the same time! XD
