Yeah but you're the one currently watching it. I'm not gonna watch it until my husband comes over for a visit, bringing the box set along. So you'll be "faster" than I. You will encounter the nun sooner or later. I think she's in the first season.

By the way... Corset Scene! :gant-clap:
I always laugh when I encounter it in the manga and I saw screenshots of it, I know that I'll laugh even more when I see it. Kuroshitsuji isn't Yaoi, I swear... *snrk*

Three episodes in to Twin Peaks, can already safely say it's one of my favourite series. And I'm retroactively liking Deadly Premonition all the better for it.

I think it's the anime's take on the Noah's Arc Circus from the manga. Sebastian sleeps with Beast no not that Beast in order to get information on "Father"... to be honest, what I've seen from the nun, I'd rather they'd have made the Circus Arc... at least Beast had nice big boobs to look at, a kickass outfit and neat curls. Not to mention a hilarious scene where Sebastian looks at her p... rostethic leg. "Inappropriately".
This nun is just... oh man, I have so many joke-comicstrips to make of that scene...

PS: I agree with Grell in that scene!

Yeah, the trailer was pretty good. Oh, and not to sound rude, but; it's Dual DESTINIES. It's plural, pal. :grey:

As for what I'm watching, I'm watching the screen of my computer because I have a big essay due tomorrow.

No, I had too many other things to do. I'm about 3/5 done with it, I think. AP U.S. History is one of the most difficult classes offered in my school.

I had chemistry in freshmen year. But I had an awful student teacher who didn't know how to instruct the class. I didn't learn anything and it only made that class harder for me. Because of that, chemistry is my worst subject. I'm okay in biology and environmental geo science though. Specifically, I find evolution fascinating and I'm learning more and more about all the time. Charles Darwin was on of the greatest people who ever lived.

Anyways, let's not get off topic, here.

And Yuki is stupid enough to not try and get out of there.

Saw a couple episodes at my friend's house, hell man just kill her and run far...far....far away. Leave the Country or something. Live like a homeless guy I don't care just ensure she can't follow you.

Then again despite the fact she's obviously crazy the plot spins around and around to make her overprotective crazy jealousy-rage justified.

Twin Peaks is absolutely amazing! A lot of wacky characters but still somewhat serious when needed. Glad to hear you are enjoying it!

As for me, I started watching Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Kill la Kill. I like GITS so far although it seems to be a bit slow paced but I got told it gets really exciting later on so yeah, I'll definitely keep watching.
Kill la Kill on the other hand is absolutely bonkers and I really love it. You can really see that the guys who made this show are same ones who created Gurren Lagann and FLCL. The only thing I didn't like about it at first, are those skimpy outfits occasionally worn by the female protag and antagonist but after watching a few episodes, I got used it as well.

I can promise you Stand Alone Complex is amazing. And nothing wrong with slow pace.

Yeah, Kill la Kill is insane, as expected. In the best possible way.

Oh sweet! I usually don't have any problems with slower paced shows but I don't know, after watching Attack on Titan every show kinda feels a bit more slow paced to me.

Did someone say Twin Peaks? I'm on the second series now, and I really love it. Some of it is a little outdated, but I just think that adds to the charm of it. I really need to get back to watching it.

I just watched episode 8 of Watamote. I hadn't seen it in ages either. It's a great show and everything, I really understand Tomoko's feelings and I can relate to her a lot. Her social anxieties are much worse than mine though, and it leaves me feeling really depressed after every episode. -_-

I know! That's actually how I got into Twin Peaks. I heard it mentioned on the Two Best Friends' playthrough, and just had to check it out.

I think it makes Deadly Premonition even more hilarious, since some of the problems with DP almost seem deliberate, as they kind of make it more Twin Peaks-like.

I read that a certain plot twist thing became so long dragged out that it became too complicated or insane, because the writers didn't know what to write after that plot thing was resolved.

I got past the part where the twist was revealed, and though it did seem a little strange having it revealed before the series completed, there did seem to be some room for development with other characters. I haven't seen how it will play out yet, and I have heard the final part of the second series wasn't as good, but it still seems pretty interesting. At least to me. :ron:

Yeah, the second half of season 2 was where I got disinterested. That said, Season 1 is arguably one of the greatest Seasons in TV history.

Right now, I'm watching Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Mushi-Shi.

Currently watching Kureko no basket. It's pretty good for a basketball anime, especially since I played basketball myself for 13 years and seeing how pretty much every Japanese high-schooler can dunk & play like an NBA player cracks me up every time.

After around 6 months after watching Higurashi no naku koro ni, I've finally got around to watching Higurashi no naku koro ni kai. The story is more interesting, but I suppose that's because it is revealing answers now, and at a rather quick pace. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of it.

I'm actually still reading the visual novel and am nearing the end of the sixth arc with Rena. Basically, it's around where the first series ends. I've also started watching the anime. It's a really compelling story that's kept me addicted for a long time.

I played the first episode and I thought it was so much better than the anime. After Watanagashi I couldn't put it down. I'm planning on getting the other episodes when I have the money.

Well obviously it's better than the anime. The visual novels will ALWAYS be better than their adaptions, though the Steins;Gate anime was pretty damn good and close to the original story. I like Higurashi anime, but the first episode isn't all that good and the animation is mostly lacking. Still, from the second episode onwards it does get better. One problem that most people will probably have is the confusing nature of the story, regardless if you're looking at the visual novel or anime. You kind of have to do outside research to understand that the story "resetting" itself and the structure of the narrative is meant to encompass "Question" and "Answer" arcs. I'm nearing the end of the sixth one so I can't wait to see how they eventually explain everything.
