A few years ago I found an old game and watch buried in my backyard. The only reason I knew what it was was because of the smash bros. series. In case you're wondering which one it was, it was Super Mario Bros.

Oh man, I've got something scarring...

So, me and my older brother don't see eye to eye on some things...(There are FEW things we agree on, Portal being awesome, Burnout Paradise, etc...)
Excuse me, parentheses, I'm talking...anyway...

He knows I don't like spiders, and he decides it'd be funny to make me freak out with my own computer. So, he manages to put a program on my computer with the same name and icon as my Art folder. (I do stuff on deviantart) I click on it, and a full-screen video of a horde of spiders...
I froze, heart stopped, face pale, palms shaking, I get up from my chair calmly...and pass out on the floor...

At least my art folder is okay.

I didn't find this, per se, but its close enough? Right? WRIGHT? :phoenix: ?

During my days in high school, I was driving home from there that afternoon, and during that trip I come to where the curve my home leads to and I see three red roses just laying on the road and practically uncrushed. I was in the middle of traffic so I couldn't pick them up, but still to this day I remember the spot and how they looked on the ground. So much so that I was inspired to write a poem about it a while back.

Pretty freaky. It'd make a good episode for one of those paranormal story television shows.

I recently happened upon some chapters of Dashu Jiang's comic, Collapse of the World as We Know It. I don't know much about the series or the author, I just found it while browsing manga sites. They're pretty weird to say the least, and at times quite violent and disturbing. Though, sometimes the scares are obviously jokes put across through how ridiculous they make the scenario seem. It kind of reminds me of another one of those dark humor mangas by Furuya Usamaru, Palepoli. I got a little freaked out by it, so yeah...I'm not going to be sleeping tonight. :beef:

Put it from your mind Louise :(

Way I see it, those things exist such a far off corner of the world that you'll never come anywhere near them in your life so no reason to treat them like they exist.

I'm not sure if this fits here, but I can't think of anywhere else this fits in better. A couple of years ago, in grade 11, we were watching videos to help prevent accidents, and the videos showed examples of the accidents, which were quite horrific and serious, showing things like children dying due to drunk drivers and people getting engulfed in flames at the gas station. Whenever someone died in that video, usually in an insanely horrific/sad/surprising manner, there was this one kid in my class who started laughing hysterically. Everyone else, including myself and the teacher, stared at him in disbelief whenever that happened. When I told my mother about this, she simply said that the kid must have "had issues". I agree with her, but I'm really worried that the kid might grow up to commit crimes. I'm only 19, so that wasn't very long ago, about 3 years, give or take.

Might not be the weirdest I've ever seen, but...
I remember, one time, my dad came home from taking a walk, and he had a spoon that he'd picked up on the side of the road. It was burnt on the underside. Dad said he thought it had been used for doing drugs... :pearlshock:
Actually, I think it's still in our house.

It is possible the kid had issues.

But at the same time, it can depend on what he was laughing at. Videos such as the ones you're describing sound like they rely heavily on shock tactics to sell their message.

I don't know about you, but I've seen and heard enough "DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOUUUUUUU" voiceovers on top of absurd reenactments that were already over-the-top, that I'm just desensitized to them now. I don't find the act of someone dying horribly to be funny at all, but stick it in a goofy enough presentation, well, I'll be honest. I might be tempted to laugh.

I found a Naruto fanfic that I found so bad I actually blocked it out of my memory. The only thing I truly remember is that it was Naruto...aside from 6th grade that's the only thing I have ever blocked out of my memory.

If it was a prostate massager then you could assume it was for him.

But a vibrator could be for any ladies he happens to be intimate with.

Hey, at least it wasn't, like sex toys. Found some of my mom's vibrators once in the basin we have (I was gonna soak my white pants in it, stupid mensturation) and I just asked her what they were doing there. They were dusty and she was gonna wash them.
