My favorite series of all motherfucking time. Appreciate now.

I've always loved the JoJo series--since its' beginning as 'huge beefy men fighting' to the 3rd part, which everyone knows best.

I actually have one of the rather rare artbooks, Jojo a Gogo, which contains a big full color artbook, a STAND book that lists all of the stands and their powers, and a small book about the artist and some of his sketches.

The Stand book also contains his lists for things like 'favorite' stand and 'most powerful,' etc.

Btw, if you buy the manga (lol HH) don't get the Viz version--they've removed, edited, and censored the manga extensively.

Just download it, if you really want to read it.

All of the hearts and flamboyant fashions in JoJo are only there to show how manly they are.

They can where that shit and still look tough.

Ah, didn't think I'd find fellow fans of this amazing Manga series (My favorite of all time.) I've read through all the parts, including what's out of Steel Ball Run and Merchandise wise I have all the volumes from Part 1 and 2 and the art books "JoJo 6251" and "JoJo a GoGo" my favorite character is Joseph Joestar (Shamed how he was horribly nerfed in Parts 3 and 4) and my favorite Part and what I believe is the best Part so far is Part 2.

If I could rank the parts in any order I'd do;

2>3>6>5>4>1

The reason I don't have Part 7 (Steel Ball Run) in their is because it's not finished and anything could happen but if I was to rank it on where it's at now I'd put it equal to or less than Part 2.

It's my favorite series of all time too. I have the entire manga collection and I'm following Steel Ball Run now.

When does the part 1 OVA is going to be released?

(Damn, I'm fan since 1996 and in my country I just know around 5 fans plus me) :shoe:

This is truth. But, I kind of laughed when I thought about the whole damn epic of Part V, in which levels of GAY and GAY abound. Still awesome, tho'.

I've loved JoJo for many years, and I must say I'm quite a fan of the earlier, shounen style stuff, such as Part 1 and 2, and of course, Part 3 and 4. I've got the old OVA on DVD, and the PS1/PS2 games, including the newer one based on Part I, which was kind of epic. In a manly way. I also got a few of the earlier volumes of the manga, in Japanese, just for shits and giggles.

All I can say is, manly, in response to this thread. Manly.

That's all that comes into my head, when I think about JoJo. Plus, the whole, "If I shoot a bullet at an angle of fourty five degrees, it will bounce off the wall, and then make course toward the left eye of that statue, which will in turn create a mirror effect in the other dimension, refracting light, that will return to destroy his left arm at the same angle!" - All that scientific nonsense really makes my eyes moist.

Long live JoJo!

Yeah, but Part V is still flamboyantly homosexual-seeming. Even with Trish, in the mix.

Not like I'm complaining. I liked the look of it, 'n all.

Bruno Bucciarati was hot. Along with most of the male cast.

I think millions of unwashed male otaku had their eyes opened, when Bruno licked the sweat from Giorno's cheek.

This and the 52 volume's cover that shows Abacchio too close from Fugo, I remember that when it was released, so many trivial comments. Maybe Stone Ocean [Part 6] is the counter-part but with women, and well... renewing the jojo-only-men concept that followed in 5 series.

People here mostly follows part 3 because of the OVAs and the localized capcom game? :grey:

Oh, yeah. I remember that. Pretty interesting.

I think that's the point, or the point Abacchio got in Giorno's face that made me dub it homoerotic.

In a manly way.

Is it true that they did remove Iggy x Horus battle? And Vannila Ice kicking Iggy badly after the sand-statue stuff? If that's true, my concept of the dirty american manga editors is going even worst.
I wonder if they try to release part 2, what would the nazis part will become? They'll put flowers to replace swastika? Or the "Mu" kanji like Atlus america did on Maken X? :hotti:

Thanks for reposting it! - I'd sort of lost the link, eons ago. I remember when GioGio's Bizarre Adventure came out for the PS2 in Japan, and I was desperate to play it, despite having no knowledge of playing import games or the means to get hold of them.

I used to watch this thing thinking it was hella' awesome, when I was a younger boi. Since I had a PAL copy of the 2D fighter JoJo's Bizarre Adventure for the Playstation, I had to make do!

The tale had a happy ending when, finally, for Christmas last year I got bought a Japanese slimline PS2, and fortunately, that was one of the games bunched in with it.

Happy manly days. <3

I must sound really dumb saying this, and quite naïve, but you can get the GioGio PS2 title on Play-Asia quite cheap, since it is long-since budget. Also, the new one based on Part I, by Bandai-Namco or something.

The newest one got stick, but, I quite enjoyed it for obvious reasons. I.e, archetypal huge shounen-style muscular men with square jaws and massive eyebrows reminiscent of Hokuto no Ken. Manly, no? - If we're not counting DIO/Straights who are pretty.

And I'm not gay.

As for the PS1/Dreamcast release of the 2D fighter based on Part III, I'd say the best bet to make would be EBay. I hear the Dreamcast one is superior, but the PS1 version had Super Story Mode, which was the best thing ever in a JoJo related game.

Unfortunately, I've never owned a Dreamcast. I have considered buying one pre-owned, somedays.

What secrets are these, exactly?
