Sounds like it might be a character/dialogue swap (it sounds like a line the Judge might say instead), or else Edgeworth was supposed to say something else.

But I only say that because I've seen it happen in other games to embarrassing degrees.

I just realized how evil Edgeworth looks in that promo art. Even more so than in the original AA art.

Oh wow, I never heard that. They recently mentioned that there'd be "minor changes" at the SDCC panel, though at the panel they didn't really specify what kind of changes.

Here's hoping they do a good job. I've now beaten the entire 3DS Trilogy and AA3's script was pretty bad and outdated. Since I was playing it alongside the DS version, I noticed a LOT of different dialog. It's clear that they just copied the script from the Japanese bilingual DS release, which used an unfinished script. It's playable, but the western DS version's writing is much more fleshed out and edited. I noticed a lot of impressively miniscule punctuation errors fixed in the DS version. The final case in particular had a lot of work done to it. I guess they really did care about AA3 (unlike AA2...).

Here's a couple comparison shots I took. I could've taken more because there are a lot of differences...but these should be enough to get the idea. (Spoilers for AA3 case 5!)

I noticed Janet Hsu did the localisation for JfA and DD... I have to say, I really like the "writing" of those two games, in terms of the dialogue and characterisation, but they're both the most typo-filled.

I wonder if she has lower editing standards than the others...?

EDIT: She did Ghost Trick as well, which I sort of remember being perfect. Did Nintendo publish that, though? 'Cause that'd explain it... *crosses fingers that Nintendo buys Capcom*

I do wonder if there'll be any difference between the Japanese version and the Western version, seeing as you can play in English on the Japanese version - that's what I'm doing, obviously. There are still several typos in the English version, however, and I'm surprised there's absolutely nothing added to the game other than the combination of the trilogy. I would've expected some kind of update, like being able to play any case you want whenever you want like in Dual Destinies, or an art gallery or something, but no, nothing like that at all.

It really does seem like it's just an attempt to score as many quick bucks as possible without having to put any effort into it.

They actually did fix that already for the European and WiiWare releases.

You could always just go get the Japanese version if you want the miracle to never happen again. :P

They fixed some typos in the iOS release, but I don't know if all of them were fixed. I missed about 99% of the typos in the original :sadshoe:

In screenshots, it looks like the text looks a little blurry.
