Yeah, Gentle is awful because it almost always gives you only one bullet. I think the middle difficulty was similar. You need to play on the hardest difficulty so the game doesn't basically give you the answer by giving you only one bullet. That way if you aren't sure where the game is going next, you can actually figure it out on your own.

Ehhh... watch an LP. Or the anime. Yeah people say the anime cuts stuff out, like the backstories of the character you only encounter in the Free Time events but... well, the backstories aren't at all necessary to know to finish the story. Game doesn't answer the right questions, anyway.

What noobs? I haven't played AE and I don't really feel like playing it. I played DR and DR2 and I think that was enough for me. I want DR to stop, if it wants to go into horror or survival fine, but stay away from anything that somehow deals with mysteries. Just flat out tells us what's going on and make things creepy there. Spike is terrible at doing good mysteries for DR.

I'm just saying that you complain so much about the game yet its doing something right because it has been selling well baka. I havn't played too many spike games besides DR but I saw nothing wrong with the mysterious of the game as yes some parts didn't make sense at times but overall the whole premise wasn't bad and they did pretty well with the mysterious especially in DR2. If it wasn't the fact that I spoiled DR2 I would have had trouble solving the mysterious in certain cases.

I believe I have mentioned multiple times how I do like Fukawa, Sho and Togami. Not a whole lot, but out of the bunch, they're the only ones I like.
