After he was fired from the police force in 1-5, he said that he would become Nick's assistant. Too bad he got his job back again. ;_; They would have made the best team ever.

Agreed! I think that happened again in 2-4, no? I love it when he's on Nick's side.

Yes, me too. I like how they interact with each other when Maya's away. When she's there she's usually the center of attention (don't get me wrong, I like her character, but I can get enough of her sometimes).
Gumshoe working as a defence aid on Wright & Co Law Offices would have made JFA and T&T ten times more epic.

He actually does work at Wright & Co. in 2-4. He helps Nick gather necessary evidence.

That he does. I need to play JFA again, it's the only one I havent played through more than once. D: I don't know why that is, actually... After all, it contains Gumshoe's finest moment.

Either that or in 3-3 was his finest moment.
Yeah, that was pretty epic too. God, his crush on Maggey is so adorable. *Glomp*

When it comes to Ace Attorney, he's a character that everyone, even I overlook. But he's one that everyone does- or should- like; sure he's a bumbling idiot, but he sincerely makes an effort in his job and has the heart of a true detective. Yes I know, efficiency means more to police then heart- hence the pay cuts- but all the same I just can't help feel like there should be a special exception for Gummy; a guy this hard-working deserves to make more then the peanuts he makes.

I liked Gumshoe's role in the games, I like having him around and his good as a partner. His relationship with Kay is one of the best things in both of the games, along with him getting a raise in the end of GK2. However he should have provided a little more than funny-stupid lines (and his usual helpfulness of course) because with all the time he's around they could've taken the opportunity to make is character a little more rounded. But in his own right, he was great.
I really liked Gumshoe during those games and his relationship with Miles and Kay was perfectely build-up. I liked how serious he tried to be all the time and always failed at it. Overall, he was perfect, the best pal everyone could ask for.

Hmmmmm..... ZVARRI! Chief of Police/ Detectives perhaps? Unlikely, but it could happen

I just have to say how much I love Gumshoe, sometimes I get all touched when thinking of the man. He could be a little less "flanderized" - but I love him all the same and I'm happy that he gets a lot of time in this game. His relationship with Kay makes me all "aww" - now, that's some really sweet buddies. Ah, I love dear Dick. So well-meaning, Mr. Scruffy is.
