Of course you can Mija, I can't wait to see it :hotti:

Oh, just as a question, How do you do all your custom sprites?
I, personally, whenever I make one, draw it on paper, and scan it in Via printer, the trace over it and fill it in a shade it.

It depends. If I'm making a custom sprite from scratch, I'll make a rough sketch in Photoshop, then a cleaner sketch, then I'll outline and colour it, and lastly resize it.

Or if I'm tracing I'll just do it pixel-by-pixel.

Oh my. That's actually a really good method.

But I personally suck at freehanding on the computer, so I really have to do it on paper and scan it in. I'm much better at drawing with a pencil, not a finger on a mousepad.

But I'm great at overly co-ordinated spriting.

Thanks for sharing your methods. Neat.

I prefer to manually shade and anti-alias everything but when dealing with Perceive stuff there's no choice but to start big and resize XD And big means big, 8x the normal size... (2048x1536) After resizing I clean it up and scratch the talk frames in.
Otherwise if I'm speedspriting I'm constantly going through 2x and 4x sizes a lot and paint it.

She's on par with an official AA character in my book!
If you want, I'll get to animating these when I'm at my home computer!

One thing, composition wise that co-council pose of her pointing the magnifying glass out it a bit off. The arms look a little out of proportion.

Yes please! If you want you can try and animate the complete set if you want. If not it's ok. :jake:
Edit: In that case don't animate that one please, I'll fix it tomorrow.

I'm honoured that you were inspired XD I'm not really sure that pose can fit on a DS screen though...

By the way, just as a general note with arm lengths, the elbow is generally in line with the bottom of the ribcage when a person is standing straight.

Hesseldahl, does this mean that there are finally some Maya Fey DA sprites free to use on Court Records?

Great job, as always :D

Cambrio's revamp did wonders for him: the original's bigger problem was in his arms. He looked like he didn't have joints in them, which seemed weird. That was fixed on this new one, and his face looks way more expressive, too. Congrats!
