While the more unexpected news of the day is Phoenix and Maya in Project X Zone 2, Famitsu also announces this week's magazine covers DGS case 2:

The article shows the case begins in a steamship (as we've seen before) and will be introducing the investigation part of the game, as well as some new characters. Scans should be available in a little less than 24 hours.

So I wonder how this case pans out. We know there is also a murder in a carriage (according to the trailer that's when Ryunosuke and Sherlock meet for the first time) and maybe the affair on the ship is connected to that. Otherwise the case in England could be the third case.

Apparently, the episode title is "The Adventure of Ties of Friend and Fish", and it seems like Ryu has landed himself in some kind of troubling incident again. It's always by chance with this dope, isn't it?

By the way, I'm going to assume that message on the floor in one screen is Russian. Does anyone know what it says?

It's "The Adventure of A Friend and the Speckled Band". まだらの紐 = (The Adventure of) the Speckled Band.

Okay, then. That explains the snake. Interesting, so Takumi really is taking a great deal of inspiration from the classic Holmes tales. In fact, it seems like people who've read them may have a better idea of how these cases will go...

Except of course, for the moments when this version of Sherlock Holmes goes super-doggy mode and prances around in search of said snake.

As it looks, then, I don't think the case in England about the murder in a carriage has anything to do with this case.
