Early 90's.
There was some good shit on TV back then, as I recall. XD

Or if you want a proper answer...

Maybe to the time where Jesus was alive, so I can see his superpowers. Or a time where dinosaurs roamed the land.

I choose these two time zones because there's a great deal of debate about which is true and which is a load of crap. So I'd like to learn the answer with my TRUSTY TARDIS OF JUSTICE.

Take me with you, Doctor D! You need a companion. :edgy:

I'd probably go live in the eighties... Then I could make my living as a sprite artist AND reap all the benefits of an incredible era of music. <3

Or I'd visit ancient Egypt and leave a Yu-Gi-Oh card there... Wouldn't THAT fuck with history?! :redd:

I'd probably have to say anywhere within the 70's to 80's.

John Lennon, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Jimmi Hendrix, Ozzy Osbourne (Black-Sabbath days)... God, They were the bomb in those days!!!
I'm a dork and I love that era of music.. This is what happenes when you're raised by a mom who adores it all. XD

Muh. Not many great things happened in the 90's that I know about... Other than Brittney spears, Ricky Martin, and N'sync were big hits at the time. To me, in my once pre-teen mind, at least. Ugh. *burned their CD's at ome point*

..But when I turned 13, through some guy classmates I knew, I started listening to Led Zepplin and the Beatles. That's how oldies music started to influence me, too, besides my mum. =P

Other times, I'd go to? I'd love to go back into the feudal eras of Japan.

I know this going to sounds so odd but I wanna go back to when Dinosaurs roamed the earth or the start of The Ice Age. I wanna see the world before it was ruled by humans.

Of Course, It would probably only be a one way trip for me. :gant:

I would like to go back to the following time periods:

The American Civil War (1861-65)--One of my passions of historical research.

The Medieval Ages, particularly 1483 so I can find out who REALLY killed the Princes in the Tower (Edward V & his younger brother Richard, Duke of York).

Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome--They each have their fascinating histories.

The Age of the Dinosaurs--That would be cool! :)

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who wants to go back to The Age of the Dinosaurs.

Although those other 2 sounds like some good options. Well, I know I'm taking with me if I ever could time travel. :edgy:

Heck yeah! You cannot beat the classics.

I would rather go FORWARD in time and see what happens in the next 30 or 40 years.

If the future looks bleak and horrid, I would ask what happened and than go back in our current era and try anyway to fix things up so that future would never happen.

I hope that made a little sense. I don't want to sound like random babble.

@BP: Awwwww.... :edgy: Hubby will come with, too. I know there's some history he'd like to see. :)
@MM: I understand what you're saying and it isn't just random babble. I find it commendable, in fact. :)

For myself, I'd like to go into the past-and the VERY distant past-and try to fix things so the problems from that time in history that infect our world today, sometimes many millenia later, wouldn't even exist.

Then again, who's to say that changing anything would actually be beneficial in the long run? Therein lies the rub at least for me the history geek: you don't know what will happen-then or many millenia into the future-if you go back and change one part or aspect of history. I really wouldn't want to mess around with that or you might come back to a world that's very different from the way you left it.

What I would do-if I were to change an aspect or aspects of history and since I love different histories of Antiquity-is do it in little jumps--change this or that here or there and then jump ahead 5-10 years and see what's happened in the intervening years. If it's not so good or downright horrid, go back and change it back. If good, continue on and repeat ad infinitum. :)

Time travel-with hubby coming with me, of course!-would be a dream come true for me! Actually being able to see and converse with the people from history I admire or am curious about would be absolutely AWESOME! Talk about a rush! WOW!!! :edgy:

Going back to the 80's would be fun. Getting to do all the grown-up stuff I wanted to do as a kid and mabey helping out my little self. I think alot about how diffrent my life might be is I were properly diagnosed as epileptic when I was little. It tends to make me sad thinking of the what-if's though.

More then that though, I would want to go back to the 50s-60's and see my mother and her family and how they lived and learn all I could about my family. My grandmother talught me alot when I was little about cooking and homemakeing and all sorts of things but she passed away before I could ask her the things like where we came from or what my ancestors were like. But it would be wonderful just to see her again, as she was when I was little.

Going back even further (a couple hundred years or so) I would love to meet my ancestors from Spain in the expolerer times. I'm not sure how my great x9 or so grandfather would think of me but I would love to be able to meet him and see how they lived then and there. I wonder how I would fit into the seventeen hundreds...

First. I'd go back to the early 80's, to the time that the DeLorean DMC-12 was still in production and then modify it so it was the time machine, because it's not Time Travel without a DeLorean. Then I would go to the future and get a hovercar upgrade, then I'd see how things would go from there.

You didn't miss much. All the cool shit came from the eighties. Like me. :redd:

And come on, EFG! Didn't you ever watch Star Trek? We all know that when you try to mess with history, the Nazis win WWII. :redd: Just kidding!

I think I'd go to the far future and see just how terrible a post-apocalyptic mess humanity has gotten itself into.

I'd go back in time and stop my parents from meeting and cause my mom to fall in love with me so that I'd never have been born. And then I'd go on an adventure to get my parents back together involving a crazy scientist, skateboarding, a dance, manure, a storm, a clocktower, and a bully named Biff. Hmm...why does that sound familiar?
