If I get accepted into one of their programming classes, hope its their Visual Basic class. Because I can't see programming a case maker in C, C++, or C# :sadshoe:

I might try my hand at gamemaking using visual basic. I already made a music player, it can't be that hard to make a case maker..... or at least a case.

Except it sucks at doing grafics, I'm afraid.

What's silly is, it's already been 8 days, and no update. :sal:

:objection:

:object: There is a serious contradiction in your posts, MechaBowser!

On Jun 23, 2007 2:51 AM, you said:

" Infact, this is day 2 out of 8 I'll be here, ever, so I'm just telling I'm gonna have to release the thing as it is, and therefore no cross-examination (sucks). "

Saying that you only had 6 days left. But just an hour and one minute later, you say:

" And I only got 8 days remaining, waaay not enough to finish Cross Examination, sorry guys. "

Now claiming you have 8 days left!

If the first post is true, then you have posted after the time that you claim that you'd be leaving! A serious contradiction!

If the second one is true, then this should be the last day you spend on these forums!

:ack: Which one is true!?

Well..... If Mecha isn't going to show 2.1, and if Shaun doesn't finish a complete case maker, then we're practically screwed with case makers. And no one teaches MMF for crap, and I don't feel like teaching myself MMF.

Don't forget..... Both me and DDR Khat still have 2.1 beta. So if he leaves the community with a failed 2.0, then things can only get worse from there. Thing is, Mecha has the latest 2.1 with new features the beta does not have. The only downside is no cross-examinations (which the 2.1 beta actually has).

Maybe when college classes begin, I can find out a few things of their programming courses if I get accepted. Maybe, I could try teaching myself VB until classes start (since they seem to offer a VB course), but I'm still not sure until I can find out more information when I go take their test, and go to their meetings.

Haven't you guessed it yet? MechaBowser LITERALLY left the public with 2.0. He LITERALLY left me and DDR Khat with beta 2.1 :sal:

As far as I'm concerned, 2.1 does not exist as a whole!
Even if MechaBowser releases 2.1, it won't have cross-examinations like the beta has.

Well, since Mecha appears to have left the forums, why don't either you or DDRKhat release the private beta of 2.1 you got to the public? Unless Mecha is, like, blackmailing you or something, there should no reason for you not to do that....

I'd rather wait one more month before releasing any private betas made by Mecha Bowser. Unless DDR Khat has other word/say on this.

I am afraid I will not be releasing the private beta of 2.1. I promised I would not release it, and even if Mecha is going to stab us in the back, I'm going to honor that promise.

Then I probably should do the same. Even if it means leaving the public with only 2.0. :phoenix:

Well..... IF MechaBowser does decide to return (and thats a big IF), and one of us does end up releasing beta 2.1, then that would probably hurt MechaBowser even worse then the state he's probably already in. :gumshoe:

In other words, if I released the beta 2.1, and MechaBowser suddenly showed up out of nowhere, he would probably get pissy with me. So, I don't want to take a chance of anyone getting mad at me for something I wasn't supposed to do. :eh?:

Yesterday I downloaded the Case Maker, today I read the bad news. What a shame. I totally fell in love with it. I have to admit, I'm a total Phoenix Wright Fan Boy and was totally obsessed with the idea, to make my own cases. I hope he returns :(
But I got some questions: I don't know some things yet. Try to work 'em out, but their are some things, that won't work for me: I have never sound when someone talks. Text-sound I mean. You know, when the letters appear and everytime a sound comes. It's just mute. And how can I make cutscenes like when the judge knocks with his hammer for example?

Exuse my bad english, but I'm from germany :)

Yea...... I have not seen him online since the beginning of July. I'm thinking it's safe to say that he's officially dead. I had thoughts on releasing 2.1. But I don't want to do it if MechaBowser is really still alive, somewhere else. :gumshoe:

And I like to say that his 2.1 Beta is MUCH better than trying to make something with his previous 2.0. :phoenix:

Umm..... It HAS PS2/PW2 sprites. Look more closely.

However, GS3 DS is not out yet. But I assume he'll get around to those once after GS3 DS is out.

You can probably still use the GBA style GS3 sprites, but they aren't in DS format. :sadshoe:

Well..... I do have a somewhat completed sheet of him, with sprites below the table. However they're from the GBA version (meaning, missing pixels, which could be made in the upcoming DS version). But what's wrong with the ones on Croik's website? :eh?:

1) I never knew they were actually twins. Though it was the same person in alternate outfits. You see, second oppinion hasn't been released in Europe yet, and I've had to rely on youtube.

2) I ran out of room before I noticed it. Take a look at the file size.

3) Greg was part of a later grafics rip, those are the ones that show at the startup screen.

Come on, it's not like having graphics will help you with a really horrible case maker like 2.0!!
I mean, you do realize that, in 2.0, you can't have any user interaction at ALL, right? All you can have are text boxes and people. How boring is that!?

Which is why I prefer 2.1 beta, and hoped that MechaBwoser would have lived longer to finish the update. Unfortunately, that's not the case. :sadshoe:

Oh, and BigFish, its sad that we are left with an underdeveloped case maker. But its still great for making "movies". Im just thankful 2.0 got released at all. Mechbowser, if ur still alive, thanks for 2.0!

Darn. I guess N-Mario isn't going to release 2.1, and will just taunt us by talking about how great it is. :hobohodo2: Right now, I'm making cases by ROM Hacking GS3 with Comeback Courtroom. It comes with the patch, despite what the homepage says, so you can play the first GS3 case in English a couple months before the official English one comes out! Also, I have a reference of all the important things you need to know to make your own game scripts:

(In the game, right after the 6B command, bganim 62 118 is
