Just the fact that he PURPOSELY put his hair like that, and has a permanent ugly frown is not okay. No wonder he was a good lawyer, he scared people into confessing with his gums. ew

l'belle isn't ugly to me but it's kind of striking how unusually big his mouth is compared to the rest of his face, it's slightly off-putting

I agree. I don't find him ugly, I just think he looks like an odd version of Oscar Wilde, but that mouth... It looks a bit creepy.

It's more his gaping jaw that makes me uncomfortable, but it's worse in the initial animation when he makes the "AAH!" face. I still think this looks better than what I saw in the AA6 preview though :/

That gaping jaw does look weird. I think the one of the few things they really messed up are the mouths and teeth. Just look at this:

The teeth look too 3d while the mouth looks as 2d as those of the original sprites. Something about them just seems off.

Alright, PL might have ugly faces, but they're not as bad as some of the AA faces! Some of the AA faces were the stuff of creepypasta!
