"Let me give you the timeline.

At 2AM Charlie and I stand watch on the corridors.

At one point Karega walks into the corridors and into the classroom.

After an hour the power goes out.

I meet up with Charlie.

After that, I go back to my post.

Subaru enters the hall. He can't see me.

Later, Subaru and SiRReN exit the hall. Subaru goes towards the cafeteria while SiRReN goes towards the dorms.

Charlie and I hide near the cafeteria. SiRReN and Van show up and go inside the cafeteria. The 3 - Subaru, SiRReN and Van - exit the cafeteria. The bell then rings. What exactly is contradictory here?"

Matt then turned to Charlie. "What do you mean by 'Contact with paint'? I don't recall anything like paint. Though Crimson had splattered paint on a canvas when her, Arthur, Karega and I were in the art room. Maybe she got some on me."

Cesar had just stared into the air for a while now. Suddenly, he speaks. "This is hard to keep up with...nothing like the order I'm used to in court. But I guess I can't just stand around while a murder may be walking free..." He thought for a moment.

First he turned to Matt. "About that timeline...are you saying you saw Karega enter the classroom at 2AM and you didn't see her go out before the blackout? That doesn't add up with how we saw her at the gym just before the blackout happened..." He stopped, waiting for a response before discussing what that could mean.

(Ok, just caught up on here, then I'm looking at qts, then I'm looking at discord. But I already made two mistakes, one of them being a large source of confusion. Very sorry)

-Crimson did not offer to be a referee. For some reason, this was only a mistake in SiRReN's alibi. But that should've said Alchie

-Matt was supposed to see ~~Crimson~~KAREGA go into the classroom and then into the gym shortly before the blackout. So correcting his timeline...

"I was laying in my bed trying to get to sleep. I went to bed from the soccer game pretty exhausted. At four-ish is when SiRReN came to ask me to accompany her to a meeting with Subaru at the café. Subaru told us that he sensed somebody had died just after the blackout and we should search for the body. We saw that a light was on in the classroom trough the keyhole, which was different than how Subaru remembered it at around when he had first sensed someone had died at three."

"That's pretty much what I did after the soccer game up until I discovered the body."

"As I explained before, I was at the gym playing soccer with the others...Alchie left to take a shower, and Van went to go to sleep apparently. Alchie came back, and then Karega arrived. We saw her head downstairs to the gym...around 3 AM, Sirren left to apparently go fetch Van. So from my perspective, me, Cesar, and Flo were together the entire time. Alchie left to take a shower, but was with us until the time of death, so I think she's safe. Sirren's story is supported by Van's statement as well, and I'm sure Subaru will attest to it. So that's seven people with alibi's."

"Well, I've already said what I was doing, but I'll repeat it now in case it got lost in the chaos," Jay began.

"At some indeterminate point after midnight, I was apparently talking to Karega about... words. During said talk, I blacked out. I believe I was knocked out, but whatever happened made me only vaguely remember even talking to Karega, let alone what we were discussing.

At some indeterminate point after that, I woke up surrounded by metal; locked in the kiln, sweating like crazy, and bruised up pretty badly.

At some indeterminate point after THAT, I heard a single set of footsteps, after which I banged on the walls of the kiln and yelled, to no avail. Is the kiln soundproof? Were they ignoring me on purpose? I have no idea either way.

At some in--you get the idea--Ryuji and Sakura were investigating the art room. Ryuji opened the kiln, Sakura rushing over shortly after, both pulling me to safety and resuscitating me, at which point I told them what I thought I remembered.

All I know is: I didn't see any blackout, I didn't know about any body, and I didn't hear the discovery announcement until they told me about it. I probably talked to Karega. I could've struggled with Karega who might have been trying to kill me. But what I can say for sure is that I did not kill her. Thank you for listening," Jay concluded, taking a deep breath, the information dump clearly winding him in his weakened state.

I am not sure if our testimonies now are supposed to include what happened after finding the body, but Matt, Alchie and I didn't find anything noteworthy while investigating except Monkuma telling us how the classroom lock worked. That's all as far as the current topic is concerned."

I also wanna clarify something that may or may not be confusing. The "gym" is a multi-sectioned area that's like two floors. The weight room, swimming pool, basketball courts, soccer court, locker rooms, etc are all in the "gym" but they're not the same room

Each room has a different way to the exit, so someone in the weight room would not have to walk past the soccer area to leave the gym
