And Alchie is also right about my new talent... We noticed that I suddenly was good at playing chess, so that was what I did the whole day in the library to... well, distract myself. Crimson smirks before clearing her throat.
"The location of the murder wasn't in the temple..but at the tower." Crimson continues. "I didn't just see SiRReN standing by the bell...I heard her body crash and fall to the ground with a thud, later rushing over to see what had happened."
She begins fidgeting with her hair. "It was so shocking...but at the same time, I felt such an enjoyable chill coursing through my veins..I'm sorry, SiRReN." She shrugs. "I checked SiRReN's pulse: she had died at exactly 12:19."
Crimson looks around the room, growing more excited by the minute. "You know what was strange about her body? There was a paper crane lying on her corpse...The mark of the Origami Killer. I knew it had to have been the Ultimate Origami Practitioner...so I devised a plan to tamper with the scene of the crime a bit, to get all of you to arrive to the same conclusion as I did."
"I decided to go fetch a prop knife from the auditorium, meeting Alchie along the way. I had to see if I could trust her, so I placed the paper crane in her hand and told her to keep it..She should be able to attest to that. "
The stuntwoman flips her hair before continuing. "Filled with adrenaline, I brought SiRReN's body to the temple, and decided to give her a bit of a makeover...In short, I was the one who set the murder scene and made the paper cranes."
Crimson grins. "All of this was a plan to lure out the Ultimate Origami Practitioner...so congratulations, Slezak, you're the killer!"

But just like clockwork, tears began to well up in Jay's eyes again as he protested, "C-C-C-C-C-Crimson! H-h-how dare you!? Why did you c-c-commit such sacrilege to the b-b-b-body... and then, of all th-things, you a-accuse ME of all p-p-people. D-d-did my time spent with S-S-SiRReN amount to nothing? I just... I can't..." Jay broke down, dropping to his knees, openly sobbing once again. The memories of making the outfits for the banquet with SiRReN, the talk on the beach... it all came flooding back, the pain cutting through him like a knife. It hurt so much that Jay just wanted to pass out.
