Next, he was running through a field. A lush, green, grassy field. The cool foliage felt good on Jay's feet. All 15 other students were there. No killing, no arguing, just enjoying the beautiful outdoors with his friends. He longed for it to persist, but eventually it faded too.
He was talking to SiRReN now and mumbles could be heard from him as he talked in his sleep. "Oh hey SiRReN, what's up? Aren't you excited about the play? Yeah, those slippers look great on you. Oh, don't worry about the tear; that can be fixed up in no time. Didn't you hear? We all got our talents back. I can't wait to make costumes with you for the next--" Suddenly, the image morphed, "Huh? Cesar, what're you doing here? What's that? You're still her? You did what? Oh, I know you didn't mean to... No I'm not mad. Hey c'mon, we have lines to practice. Where are you going? Please come ba..." If one could see into his room, they'd see Jay with his arm outstretched, making a feeble attempt to grasp at the air to the side of his bed.
Tears materialized in Jay's eyes once again from a source long-thought to be dried up. Those too ran down his face and pooled on the bed. He was finally free to let everything go; to depressurize. The morning shower could never wash away all the grief, but at least it would wake him up to a new day--a day he hoped would be filled with happiness and novelty. There would be new places to explore! New things to do! New things to talk about! Jay cared not about that at the moment; he was still too blinded by the past to look to the future. In the morning though, perhaps, in the morning, Jay would return to his old, spritely, jovial, pun-spouting self.

The next day, she walked into the cafe, not caring much about her lack of rest. The first thing she saw on entering was Crimson holding something to Matt's face. "Okay then..." she muttered, blinking in surprise at the scene and moving to join the others. "What in the world is going on?"

"Matt!", she called out when she ran over to the others, "Are you..." Then, she suddenly realised that he didn't seem to be in danger, but just asleep, and sighed noisily. "Why do you have to scare me like that? I thought somebody was... Damn, whatever."
She walked over to the cafe counter and ordered ten bacon sandwiches, but without bread, and three large glasses of water, as she didn't want to drink out of a plastic bottle. Basically, she seemed to be back to her normal self.
