In the other room, Sakura began to wake up. At first her mind was foggy, so she didn't really understand what all the whispering voices around her were. Then in a flash it all came back to her, and she screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Cripes girl, keep ya voice down!" An elderly gentleman appeared next to her, and Sakura screamed again, somehow even louder this time. It was the first time she'd seen a ghost make a visible appearance. The ghost jumped at her yell, and spoke again in an agitated manner. "Stop it, stop it! It's me, yer grandpa! No need to git so worked up, I ain't gonna hurt ya!"
"G-grandpa...?" Sakura said uncertainly. "B-but... you died when I was 1..."
"Yup." Her self-declare relative shrugged his shoulders. "They had ta really scrape th' barrel, looking fer a dead guy ye'd actually know." Sakura, who was growing more and more pale the more the man spoke, pulled the covers up to her chin and began to shake a little. "Ah, see, there ya go again!" He sighed and shook his head. "Look, all yer friends are at the bar. An' I mean all of 'em - some kid's getting all worked up over his dead girlfriend or summat'." Sakura gasped.
"A-Alchie? Alchie's here?"
"Think that were her name, yeah. An' some nob's serving drinks, 'r at least pretending ta. Right weirdo, that one."
"S-Subaru?" Even if she didn't want to call him a weirdo herself, she could see why her grandfather would do so. She closed her eyes and took a few breaths, before throwing of her covers and leaping upright. It was only then that she noticed Sayako in the room with her.

"M-Matchy! Were you taking care of me? Thank you so much!" She smiled at the other girl, some of her usual cheer back. "H-he said they're back! Alchie and Subaru and probably the others too! I've... I've gotta go see!" It would seem the prospect of seeing the departed students again overruled her general fear of the undead. "I-" She looked over and saw Flo, still unconscious on the other bed. "Oh, right..." She didn't want to leave Sayako alone like that, especially if the coupler had yet to see their old schoolmates either. "Um... Is Flo showing any signs of waking soon?" She asked, going over to check on the sociologist.
"Wake up, girl!" Sakura's grandfather yelled into Flo's ear. "Riiiiise an' shine!"

Sayako sat there, frozen by the combination of screaming, actual ghosts popping up, and more screaming. Oh, and also ghosts. It took her a few seconds to remember how to speak, and a few more to process everything in her head. "U-uh... um... er, y-yes... er, no, I-I mean, I'm not sure... ah... a-are you alright?" She tried to smile. It took a moment to remember how to do that, too. "Will... you be okay finding them on your own? I should... should probably stay with Flo..."

She then said. "I d-don't think anyone should be left alone right now..." She looked around warily. Her grandfather waved cheekily back at her. "B-besides, I'm sure she'll wake up soon. Sakura was torn, but Sayako seemed serious. "I'll come back in half an hour if you're still not there." She promised. "We can switch." She then got up and hastened to open the door and leave, desperate to see the others again.

She ran down the hallway, barely looking where she was going. All of a sudden her world span, and she found herself looking up at the ceiling. She heard laughter nearby.
"Second time that banana peel got ya!" Her grandfather said, guffawing.
"S-second?" Sakura asked confusedly as she got back up again, noticing what was indeed a banana peel lying right in the middle of the corridor. "What do you mean?"
"Ah, best you don't know." He replied with an amused expression, before fading from view again. Sakura sighed; dealing with ghosts was troublesome. But, she had to admit, seeing her grandfather behaving that way helped alleviate her fear of all the other ghosts she could hear constantly whispering around her. Pondering that, she continued on her way to the bar.

Walking inside, she gasped as she saw the ghosts of the departed students. Tears began to fall from her eyes, but she paid them no mind. "S-Subaru! Alchie! Y-y-you're... you're here! I'm s-so glad!" She began to cry in earnest, unable to say much more just yet. "C-Cesar too!" She added, noticing the ghostly prosecutor to one side.

She replied to Ryuji's first concerned question. "Esp-p-pecially with them here." She smiled through her tears, taking in the sight of Alchie, Subaru and Cesar floating before her. "Um... Sakura was very glad to see the departed students again. Once the relief set in, she realised that she was quite thirsty, having been asleep for quite a while. Well, this was a bar, so...

She walked over to the drinks cabinet, seeing if they had any soft drinks. "Diet sprite?" She said, pulling the bottle out. "Hm..." She poured herself a generous glassful and then took a deep gulp. Maybe she was still tired and/or concussed, because it took a few moments for her to realise that the drink had burned more than a fizzy drink usually did when it went down her throat. "Wuh... wazzat?" She peered at the clear liquid inside, but didn't notice anything unusual. She took a smaller sip this time and the effect was much less severe, now that her tongue was numbed. As such she didn't realise what it was she was actually drinking, so she refilled the rest of the cup again and staggered back over to where she'd been standing originally.
