"Some robot you are, you hunk of junk", James scoffed. "You're not even waterproof? Such terrible quality. Anyway, that's more than enough!" He snapped his fingers with a sense of finality. "I believe I've heard enough from everyone. If anyone has something to say in that fool's defence, you can speak up, but for now…" He put in his vote suddenly before relaxing and giving the others a strange look.
"Boetius did it", he said bluntly, paralleling the jester's similar line from the previous trial.

"Adding to that, I thought Bryan heard that noise very briefly after seeing Mitzi enter the washroom. How would that be anywhere near enough time to set her body up in the whale before everyone entered the washroom to find V.A.L.?"

He then turns to Urumi. "Oh, no, not that! I bumped into Mitzi, so she went into the washroom to clean her IV off, and V.A.L. followed her. When I got to the bottom of the steps, I heard what sounded like a bunch of things falling over, so I rushed back up, and when I went to investigate with the other two, we saw V.A.L. We decided to investigate more, with me searching downstairs and Florian and Irene searching upstairs. When I went back up to meet up with 'em, they said the door was locked, and before I could try it on my own, I heard that thud, then turned around to see Bren! Sorry for any confusion," he adds. "And now that I think about it, Bren's timing was really convenient... making that loud noise right before I tried to open the door."

"Mitzi goes into the bathroom, and VAL follows. Bryan goes downstairs. Bren enters through the window, hoses Mitzi and VAL, hides her body in the shower behind the curtain, tips the tub over and then hides in the shower himself. Florian, Irene and Bryan arrive to find VAL short-circuiting on the ground with the tub tipped over, no-one in sight."
"After Florian, Irene and Bryan have left, Bren emerges from the shower, blocks the door Florian and Irene went through, and sets up the whale thing."
"With that done, he returns to the washroom and makes a sound as though he had only just arrived, alerting Bryan to his presence."

His breathing accelerates, then steadily slows down.
He raises his head once again, mask unchanged and stoic as his voice cracks with fear and regret.
