He then looked around the room at the other people. “There’s no way in hell we’re putting Bradley and Violet through this. And if Sunshine isn’t going to play, that leaves Helios, Adriana, Midge, and Emma. ...Of course, just cuz Sunshine doesn’t need a vaccine doesn’t mean we can’t force him into it. He still might be the nutjob that set this all up.”

Bradley crossed his arms clearly frustrated at being ignored. "Maybe if we check the gun for bullets or ask Miss Null how many times we'll need to play we'll be in a better position to vote? Mr Helios is right after all, myself and Violet need 2 adult cures or 1 child cure. If we only get child cures by playing I'd gladly play."

He tilted his head to the side in thought "Besides, remember that Miss Null said there wasn't enough vaccines for everyone. The less adult cures we use the better but first we should probably ask how she wants us to play abd how will we get the vaccines after."

Everybody sat in their places. There was a dinging confirmation noise, and then a whirring. It seems the gun unlatched.

“Hello. Albert. Teddy. Adriana. Emma. Ghost. Midge.”

A latch appeared on each participant's left wrist, holding them to the chair. The chair itself was immobile.

"W-W-What the hell is this?!" Albert shouted.

“There is a gun on the table in front of you. It can hold SIX bullets. It is currently loaded with ONE in a random position of the chamber.

“The rules are simple. Pick up the gun, point it at your head, and pull the trigger. Do not touch the chamber. If you fire the gun at any place other than your head, every participant will die instantly. The exception is the person who fired the gun, who will die a slow and agonizing death.”

“Geez, that sounds real fair…” Violet gulped.

“It actually does sound pretty fair.” Midge nodded.

“Albert.” Null paused after saying the name as if to give those time to listen. “You will get to choose the order everybody fires the gun.”

“What the fucking fuck…” Teddy sneered.

“It’s definitely best to go first.” Helios shivered. “That’s just a one in six chance.”

“Are you kidding me?” Violet looked at him incredulously. “It’s best to go last, there’s a small chance the bullet will get that far without firing.”

“But then there’s a 100% chance you’ll die if it gets that far…” Ghost’s voice chilled the room.

“Plus Null never said how the winners will work.” Helios added. “The winners might not be the survivors, but those who fire the gun.”

“But if the objective is to survive, going last-”

“We all want to survive.” Emma said blankly. “That’s why we’re doing this trial.”

"G-Geez, this is rough... I assumed everyone was just going to go in a circle," Helios said, running his hand roughly across his scalp. "I know Albert's supposed to make the decision, but are the others in the game allowed to talk to him? Or does he have to do it completely on his own?"

"Ah, you're right," Helios snapped, at Teddy's comment. He turned towards Bradley and Violet and nudged them, perhaps a little roughly, towards the exit. "Come on, you two can play foosball or something," he added, attempting to escort them out. Of course, Bradley had already left, but I didn't know that when I submitted the post okay?

"S-shit... I..." Alber pauses, trying to think it through. "I...agh!" He covers his head with his other hand, screaming in agony. "This is... I need...RRRGGHHHH!" He gives a low guttural growl in pain... It doesn't appear that he's doing particularly well...

Suddenly, the moans of agony cease. Albert stops convulsing, and puts down his hand. He looks at the other players latched down, one by one. As he does, the others can tell...something's not quite right. The look on his face...has changed. It appears calmer, colder, less frightful. As he examines each person latched to the chair, he appears almost...menacing, calculating. Clearly, he's thinking something through but the way he's doing it is oddly unlike him. His entire demeanour seems to have changed. After a while, he gives a...smirk? He seems oddly satisfied at whatever's going on with him.

"Well then", he finally remarks, all traces of fear disappearing in his voice. "So this is how it is, is it? I see. Then, I think I know what order we'll be going in." He nods contentedly. "I hope there won't be any objections to this. Not that I'll change it anyhow." He snaps his fingers, seemingly determined to get things started. He completely ignores the others, of course.

"So this is the order we'll be doing things in. First will be me, 'cause I'm not taking any chances here. Next'll be Ghoul over there, then Midgey, then Care-Bear, then Addy, and finally Em over there. Think that's fair enough." He gives a curious sort of smile to Teddy. "And that's about it. Not giving any ears to what others want- I'm the leader here, after all." He shrugs nonchalantly. "If we're gonna do things, we're gonna do things my way. So, shall we start?"

He gives a strange look towards the speakers. "Yo, Nullster. You gonna keep me in waiting all day? Start this already. I'm getting tired of waiting here", he says, in an almost bored sounding tone, not even particularly caring that his and others' lives were on the line. "Let's make this idiotic game quick at least, shall we?"
