She pulled out her scalpel once more, giving it an almost adoring look. "Or even worse, my monocle." She readjusted it thoughtfully. "Yes, as the old saying goes, some things we can't do without, you know? Speaking of, I feel my stomach rumbling once more! I never did get that extra piece of toast, did I? Ah, well."

She waved her hand dismissively. "There is already a diner car here. Perhaps I should go get a more wholesome breakfast! Come with me if you're interested, Althie!" Evelyn left and made her way to the diner car. "Ah, here we are!" She looked around, noticing the others already present. "My word! Where's the food here again? "Aha! Excellent work, Nina!" Evelyn headed over to where she was and picked up another uncooked steak. "I believe you're supposed to cook it first before eating, though, so follow my lead!" She headed to a nearby oven and kept it there, setting it to a temperature at which the steak would easily get charred. As she set it to start, she proudly looked up. "My memory isn't so bad after all, it seems! In about a minute or so, we'll be having quite the tasty meal!"

"You mean you've only eaten meat raw your whole life?" Evelyn gasped. "My dear Nina, I feel terrible for you! Cooked steak is quite tasty too, I'll have you know. When we return from this trip, you should try making some yourself! It's quite good!"

Right on cue, a DING! emanated from the oven. She went to check it out and came back with a rather overcooked steak. "Er...you might wish to use the oven at a slightly lower temperature", she sheepishly added, looking at her meal with a mixture of disgust and embarrassment. "Bon Appetit, I suppose", she chuckled softly before making her way back to the restaurant, reluctantly poking her utensils into the burnt steak.

Nina put the remaining steak into the microwave, setting it at a slightly lower temperature than what Scythe had. A few minutes later, the microwave dinged. She took the now well-done steak out and took a bite.

Rose mumbles irritatedly before plucking an assortment of fruits, vegetables, and other random food before shoving them in a blender she had found.

"When life gives you lemons.." The perfumer presses a few random buttons on the blender before eventually deciphering how the contraption works.

Soon enough, the blender produces an odd brown-green substance with an indescribable smell to it. "Ooh girl, I did it! I should totally add Ultimate Gourmet Chef to my resumé." She then presents the liquid to the others in the room with a proud smile. "I'm feeling a tad generous today. Come get this juice!"

Evelyn, seeing Rose offer her drink to everyone, moved over to try it out. After taking a brief sample, she briefly paused before taking a tremendously deep breath and turning to Rose once more, her face somehow even paler than usual.

"That actually reminds me of a body they hauled in last month", she said solemnly before continuing on this sudden tangent. "He was found in an alleyway dead with his skin a pale green. It was a gruesome sight when they took him in. My analysis concluded that he had died of poison and had then been dumped elsewhere. When the case was taken to court, the man's wife was found guilty- a stale marriage of some sort. She had used an extremely dangerous poison too to finish him off. Back then, I wondered to myself what such a putrid thing would even taste like."

She firmly placed her sample back on the table. "And now I've finally found that out! I truly owe you, Rose", she said, trying to regain her usual cheerful demeanour again. "And I'm still alive- somehow!" She gave a strange bout of laughter before proceeding back to her table and continue eating her steak, which in comparison to the juice seemed far more appealing now.

after a nap in the cabins Vic decided it was time for him to go grab a bite to eat and proceeded to head to the kitchen it seemed a few of the others were inside eating at the time. He thought it it was a good time to challenge himself to make a number of things, he likely wouldn't eat it all but the others in the restaurant might like some if done well enough, he was no chef but the terry family were all filled with talent and if he couldn't at least make some of his family's recipes then he wasn't much a terry.

he proceeded onto this self made challenge and cooked many things, by the end half of the things made had turned out great...the other half he was sure was deadly.

"hey if any of you wanna eat something i made up plenty...just try and avoid some of it, pretty sure no stomach is up to the challenge to digest the bad stuff!"

Eli heads over to one of the cabinets and opens it, sifting through the food inside. "Fine by me though, I've cooked for myself plenty."

He eventually pulls out a bag of quinoa packed with numerous labels such as "Organic!", "Robo-Friendly!", and "Extends life-span!", which were most likely added to justify pushing the price tag as high as possible. He stares at the bag with a quizzical expression.

"...the hell is this shit?" he mumbles.
