"Hoshiko's being suspicious...hmm." Evelyn scratched her chin in thought. "I suppose she couldn't have pulled the switch in the funhouse as stated earlier... She did visit the funhouse for some reason or another at 11:30 though for five minutes. What could she have wanted there? She said she had some sort of business, but I'm not sure what for... Nicos was there the whole time but didn't seem to notice much. It's not as though there was anything even of note in the funhouse...so then what? There does seem to be a chance she stole Akrasia, so perhaps she wanted to watch Nicos just in case?"

"Either way, after five minutes she left and went to the ferris wheel at 11:40. She had her bag on at the time, allowing me to confirm it was Hoshiko and not Nana. Then she went in and stayed there for the rest of...well, her life", she finished awkwardly. "So I do not believe her actions afterwards to be of much consequence. Still leaves us with much food for thoughts regarding her motives to visit the funhouse, though."

"Could...that have just been Nana after all?" Evelyn said. "She did go into the maze after 11, apparently, and perhaps Rose simply saw her looking for Akrasia. That would explain why she looked so preoccupied. I suppose this would also been Nana was still the only person who she could have seen going to the control tower, though, especially since Hoshiko was definitively trapped then."

"Actually... I have an idea. Could Hoshiko have been the caped figure after all?" Evelyn asked. "We dismissed her because she was apparently in the ferris wheel after 11:40, but...I never did get a good look at her. Could it be that she left when I followed Eli into the tunnel of love? Was Hoshiko the one who caused all this to happen in the haunted house, then escaped to the control tower and glided to the wheel using the feather potion? Then this would make the person who was supposedly in the ferris wheel the actual killer. They would have stabbed her, then taken the potion and the cape and ascended back down to the bottom of the ferris wheel and left. This would account for everything quite nicely and also explains how Rose saw 'Nana' going to the control tower. We were mistaken in assuming that the caped figure and the killer necessarily had to be the same. And...if we consider who could have been in the ferris wheel and stuck there...that would leave one person as the killer, I believe."

"I...hate to do this again. We've accused him so many times before only to be wrong. And...I wish to believe we could be wrong again. But here, I believe only Kyoya had the opportunity to have done it, considering everyone else at the time. Only his RC was found at the space zone, so the man himself wouldn't be accounted for", she finished somberly.

Awkward anticlimax edit: "Actually, he was playing with Annabella with the jetpack, wasn't he? He couldn't have done that while being in the ferris wheel, since he only could have controlled them from his room. Never mind that, then."

"Yes...we saw them continuously from 11:40 to 12:10, so it had to be someone who had some free time... Annabella couldn't have done it, she was seen playing with Kyoya by Taylor and the scorch marks prove she was playing there. Taylor couldn't have done it, Althea saw him for some moments which by itself means he couldn't have done it, considering the figure was inside continuously. Nicos couldn't have done it because he was trapped in the funhouse. And as we saw the figure pacing inside the room, it couldn't have even been Rose... And Kyoya couldn't have done it for obvious reasons." Evelyn scratched her head pathetically. "It...doesn't really help us here in terms of eliminating suspects. Perhaps we should consider what she needed to do in the funhouse more?" She suggested, clearly at her wit's end.

The bag was left in the ferris wheel and she did have the materials to imitate her sister. So...could she have wanted to be mistaken for her sister? The current theory is that she was the caped figure who activated the scrambler and such. So why would she need to be discrete about it...? Unless... Oh no."A look of realisation came onto her face.

"She was planning on killing, wasn't she? That was why she activated the scrambler and that was why she stole Akrasia. She was probably planning on murdering whoever it was who had actually killed her instead. And when the trial would begin, Rose would testify to seeing 'Nana' instead. And...Eve wouldn't even know due to not being present. That would also explain why she would need to activate the scrambler. Then she herself would believe that Nana did it till this point... Was she also planning to outsmart Eve this way? The motive indicates that she would go free even if she were caught, or at least it did at the time... So that would explain all that rather well." She seemed grim just speaking. "That...explains her motivations, at least. So she was most likely killed in self defence... The question would remain though... Who did it?"

"Additionally this explanation doesn't explain why her victim happily stayed in the car to take her place all that time. If Hoshiko was the one who planned all this, down to the activation of the scrambler, then the person in the Ferris car must have been in on the plan too."
